KPOPPED will showcase iconic Western artists as they reimagine their chart-topping tracks in the style of South Korean pop songs.

In the series, celebrities will be matched with Korean acts and sent off to rehearse for a huge performance which is then judged by a Seoul-based audience.

The Sun revealed at the start of the year that Emma Bunton and Mel B secretly flew to Seoul in November to take part in the reality show.

The official description states: “This energetic music series, starring PSY and Megan Thee Stallion, features surprising collaborations.

“And behind-the-scenes moments of connection from iconic Western artists and top K-pop idols while they create genre-blending covers of their biggest hits.”

But the exciting part for Spice Girls fans is that although PSY and Megan Thee Stallion are billed as the programme’s headliners.

The new series also features icons Mel B and Emma Bunton who have been teamed up with Korean girl group Itzy, in episode two.

The duo will reimagine their hit singles ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Say You’ll Be There’ reports the Mirror.

And viewers will also be to witness behind-the-scenes footage of the Spice Girls as they prepare for their ultimate battle.

KPOPPED will also feature pop princess Kylie Minogue, R&B star Patti Labelle and rapper Vanilla Ice.
