TWO men have been shot at near a primary school as a road has been closed with cops swarming the area.
One of the men has been taken to hospital with a bullet wound while the other man was uninjured.
West Midlands Police were called to Heathfield Road in Handsworth, an inner city area of Birmingham, at around 2.30am today.
The force said a man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
It is not thought to be life-threatening.
Cops were alerted to the incident by ambulance crews and are now carrying out house-to-house inquiries and attempting to gain any CCTV footage.
