EXCITEMENT is building! Today we publish 20 more opportunities for construction industry apprentices, to follow the 110 we highlighted last week.
It is part of The Sun on Sunday’s Builder Better Britain campaign to help people of all ages and backgrounds get involved in creating the homes, schools and hospitals we all need.
Trainee carpenter Henry Plant, 18, of Cannock, West Mids, said of our Government-backed listings: “I can’t praise your Builder Better Britain campaign enough.
“It’s really important that people are made aware of how they can find an apprenticeship.
“Carpentry is the first job I ever wanted to do but I spent two or three years looking for the right opportunity before I landed this.
“It’s frustrating when you want to work but every door seems shut, so the fact you are helping to point people in the right direction is amazing.”
As shops and pubs stop hiring, the Government is pumping £100million into supporting training of the 12.8 per cent of 16 to 24-year-olds not in education, employment or training.
Apply for the jobs on this page at gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship, stating the company name and postcode. For each position we include the date you must apply by and when the role starts.
