Auntie’s silence
THE shocking bias of BBC management blinded by deeply ingrained woke ideology and Left-wing groupthink has this week been laid bare.
Not that you would have seen or read too much about it on any of the Corporation’s many outlets.
Or seen craven Labour ministers speak out on a dossier of allegations which has exposed an inexcusable lack of impartiality from our national broadcaster.
That roll-call of dishonour has included its flagship Panorama programme deliberately lying about Donald Trump by editing footage to wrongly make it look like he’d encouraged riots in Washington.
Blatant support of Hamas terrorists and relentlessly anti-Israel news reports have been allowed unchecked on BBC Arabic and other channels.
Even one of the BBC’s own newsreaders has been hung out to dry for pointing out that “pregnant people” are actually WOMEN.
Despite each appalling revelation, the silence from Auntie has been deafening.
Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has also failed to launch a full investigation into these scandals.
Perhaps it will take a powerful intervention from Trump to finally wake up the Government and BBC News chiefs.
Meanwhile, viewers continue to be lied to and short-changed.
And trust in the BBC plummets even further.
Unpaid bills
LABOUR’S latest small boats distraction is to consider forcing illegal migrants to pay for their free hotel rooms.
That may well deter one or two from making the crossing.
Far more likely is that once granted asylum and allowed to stay permanently, low-skilled and low-paid migrants will be sent a bill they will almost certainly never pay.
Spending on asylum hotels will hit £15billion this decade.
Yet the Government has only won back £74million in excess profits made by companies supplying accommodation.
What chance of getting cash back from penniless individual migrants?
Another 1,000 illegals arrived this week.
The public would much rather see them turned around and sent straight back to France.
Never forget
SOMETIMES it may feel like the freedoms fought and died for with unimaginable courage during two World Wars are under threat.
Not least when idiot local councils are taking down poppy tributes and flags.
But Remembrance Sunday tomorrow is another chance to take a few moments to reflect that Britain is still a great country.
And that those who want to undermine our great democratic and free nation will never ever win.
