Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will be replacing Bondi, who has served as President Donald Trump’s attorney general since January 2025.

Bondi was oustered during a Trump in the Oval Office shortly before his speech on the war in Iran, sources told Fox News.
The ex-attorney general was already on her way back to Florida as Trump took the podium to address the nation, a source said.
She becomes just the second cabinet member in a month to get the axe from Trump.

Bondi came under fire for her handling of the Epstein files.
While Blanche will serve as acting attorney general, Trump is reportedly considering Environmental Protection Agency Director Lee Zeldin as her permanent replacement.
