Lately, I have been writing about the fact that the left is gearing up to duplicate the French Revolution here in America, based on the idea that the United States is an authoritarian police state. I am not predicting a civil war, but rather pointing out that a civil war is the goal being pursued by the left. 





Democrats are being told by their constituents that the goal has to be blood in the streets. That’s not hyperbole–that’s what Congressmen are telling Axios their constituents are demanding. 

I’m pretty sure that most Democratic Congressmen don’t want to follow through by providing it to them–after all, those same constituents are asking the politicians to get shot, and people who go into politics as a career are more interested in power and prestige than becoming martyrs for a cause. 

The politicians are confronting ICE agents and trying to pass legislation intended to make them easier targets for the Antifa Brownshirts the Democratic Party relies on to do its dirty work for them. And Antifa is already doings its best to provide that blood for them. 





President Trump and Tom Homan are not backing down, and Trump’s Rapid Response team is dropping the receipts showing that prominent Democrats are egging on the violence and inciting the people doing the actual violence. 

You have likely seen a couple of these politicians doing their best to gin up the crowds, but it really is striking to see these videos all together in one place. What may seem to be a politician bloviating here and there turns out to be part of a propaganda drumbeat clearly intended to whip up the radicals into an orgy of violence. 

In rant after rant, Democrats are trying to turn their rhetorical fire into actual fire–not done by them, but by those constituents who are demanding blood. Like Robespierre, who sent others to do his dirty work at the guillotine, these Democrats are creating a climate of violence that is being played out on the streets. 





During Trump’s first term, the Democrats and Pravda Media dubbed Trump’s opponents “the #resistance, comparing bureaucrats within the government who sabotaged Trump and rioters in the streets who went on destructive rampages to the French Resistance in World War II. They called Trump and MAGA “Nazis,” and are calling ICE the “Gestapo,” accusing them of building concentration camps and kidnapping innocent people in the streets. 

It’s not just irresponsible–it’s an intentional plan to implement a “rioter’s veto,” in which people who lose battles at the voting booth turn to terrorism to intimidate the American people into bending to their will. 

Democrats have been deploying the “I don’t approve of violence, but…” excuse for why they support the “cause” but not the means. That is a distinction without a difference. None of these politicians is actually condemning the violence, and they deploy all the passion and rhetoric that inspired it in the first place. 





When Luigi Mangione killed Brian Thompson, a parade of Democrats went on TV to explain why Mangione’s cause was just, if not his means. Rather than simply condemning an assassination, they explained it away. 

Over half of Democrats believe an assassination of President Trump would be at least “somewhat justified,” and you can see why: their leaders are comparing him to Hitler and insisting he is a threat to democracy. 

Now they are doing the same thing to ICE and Border Patrol agents, and getting similar results–a climate of violence. Rutgers University researchers called this phenomenon an “assassination culture.”





I don’t know whether these Democratic Party politicians actually want to see the civil war they are slyly implying is necessary, but that is as irrelevant as saying that the people who insisted on defunding the police didn’t want to see the spike in crime that followed from their policy choices. 

They may think they are just riding a wave of political anger, milking it for political points with their base. 

So what? They are getting people killed, and don’t care.
