JUSTIN Bieber and his team flew 4,300 miles to hunker down and record a comeback album at a famous remote studio in Iceland as he channels his pain through music.
Bieber, 31, spent time at Floki Studios at Deplar Farm with a group of collaborators as he missed the Met Gala with his wife, Hailey.
The superstar, whose last album Justice was released in 2021, has been open about his struggles in recent months as fans worried about his frail appearance.
But a source close to the star insists he’s doing what he can to push through and has been throwing himself into work.
“Bieber is doing what he does best right now, turning his pain into art,” they told The U.S. Sun.
“Despite reports, he does have good people around him, including friends he’s had for years.”
Floki Studios has since welcomed artists such as Calvin Harris and Pharrell Williams over the years and is situated in the remote Fljót Valley on the Troll Peninsula in northern Iceland.
According to an online profile, the studio features “world-class recording equipment, control, isolation, live and lounge areas in an off-the-grid setting designed to eliminate distractions so artists can focus on their music.”
Although Bieber did not tag the studios on Instagram, they have now shared a video of the trip, captioned, “We’re so grateful that @justinbieber and his creative community chose to spend the week with us in Iceland, and huge thank you to @rorykramer for documenting their visit so beautifully.“
Bieber has shared images from Kramer’s shoot, while he has also posted his own series of photographs.
MISSING THE MET
The snapper wrote: “What a trip…Iceland never ceases to inspire me and fill up my soul. Had the best time with @justinbieber and the rest of the amazingly talented group. So many moments, adventures, laughs, late nights, cold plunges, and ice lattes.“
Bieber has been spending a lot of time with a close-knit group of guy friends in recent months as he also navigates life as a new father to baby Jack, who was born in August 2024.
Despite missing the Met Gala, he still posted his love for his wife, sharing a series of photographs of her from the event in New York on May 5, writing, “
Justin set the post to the tune of Charlie Wilson’s ‘There Goes My Baby’, he captioned it: “Tell em uncle Charlie.”
The Hollywood Reporter was the first to reveal he was “looking to vibe out in a Nordic country” with his music collaborators as he is close to finishing his latest project.
The outlet also claimed he’s been hosting “jam sessions” at his Los Angeles house in recent months as he gets back to business.
Despite his recent trip to Iceland being productive, fans have still been left worried about Bieber’s alleged drug use after his worrying Instagram snaps in recent months.
One snap on social media features the star’s close friend, Australian singer Eddie Benjamin, playing guitar.
Bieber is visible through an open door as he sits on the patio smoking a bong wearing a red sweatshirt and grey bottoms.
The star has also shared his own photographs appearing to smoke blunts and bongs, while in many he appears high.
