
A DAD who tragically died after being hit by a car has been identified, with the family paying tribute to his memory.
Liam Green, 45, died on Friday after he was involved in a horror crash while walking near Barnsley.

His family released a poignant statement in his memory, wishing him “peace”.
They said: “We hope you’re at peace now.
“We all love you very much, sending you big hugs from your mam, sons, brother and family.”
Liam was walking along Rose Tree Avenue in Cudworth, South Yorkshire, when he was hit in a fatal crash.
Around 4.55pm, police were called by the ambulance service following a report of a pedestrian being struck by a white Volkswagen Touareg.
Four people have now been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the collision.
On Friday, South Yorkshire Police arrested a 60-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, who yesterday remained in police custody.
Yesterday, police arrested a further two people on suspicion of murder – a man aged 33 and a boy aged 17.
The force confirmed their enquiries remain ongoing, and issued a plea for any information which could assist their probe.
