Hojlund has no “future” at Old Trafford
Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown has claimed Rasmus Hojlund has “no future” at the club under Ruben Amorim.
He said: “
Hojlund wants to go back to Italy. There’s interest from a few Premier League clubs, but Milan and Napoli are more likely to get a deal done.
“They know what he’s capable of in Serie A, and he knows what to expect from that league. It’s a bit of a step down from United and the Premier League, with less pressure on him to perform.
“If he can get regular football and settle in Italy, it would be the best move for everyone. Hojlund doesn’t have a future at Manchester United or under Ruben Amorim.”
Fulham exit imminent
Martial Godo is reportedly on the verge of leaving Fulham.
Fabrizio Romano claims Ligue 1 side is on the verge of signing the 22-year-old winger, who is said to be “keen on the move”.
Newcastle “agree fee” for Isak replacement
Newcastle have reportedly agreed a fee for Nick Woltemade.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims the Magpies will pay a club-record £64million for the Stuttgart striker.
The arrival of Woltemade will likely pave the way for Alexander Isak to leave St James’ Park for Prem champions Liverpool.
Bamford becomes a free agent
Patrick Bamford has ripped up his Leeds contract ahead of the transfer window closing.
The ex-Chelsea man, 31, was told he had no future at Elland Road by manager Daniel Farke earlier this summer.
He departs after seven years in Yorkshire, having twice guided Leeds back into the Premier League as Championship winners, but suffered with multiple injury troubles in recent years.
In a video released on his social media pages, Bamford said: “Right now, with the way it has come to an end and the way things have been handled recently, it’s all a little bit too raw to reflect on immediately.
“But I think in the years to come I’ll look back at this period of my life with nothing but joy, pride, and be super happy with what I’ve achieved and the fact that I was able to wear this number 9 shirt in front of you guys for this many years.”
