THE TRAITORS star Matthew has been left shocked after idenity of the Traitors following his banishment in tonight’s episode.
The player received the most votes after James was awarded the dagger which meant he could throw two votes his way.
He also received votes from Traitors Rachel and Stephen as they successfully managed to get him out of the castle.
After the main episode, Matthew appeared on Uncloaked and found out the identity of the Traitors.
Before opening the letter, he revealed his suspicions to be both Jade and Stephen.
Finding out Stephen’s identity, Matthew smiled and said: “Stephen, yes, okay, wow. I did think it was him.

“Now I regret not saying what I thought at the roundtable. Very well played, I don’t begrudge him at all, he’s played an amazing game.
He then pulled down the second half of the letter which showed Rachel’s name.
Clearly in shock by her name, he let out a gasp as he exclaimed: “Rachel!”
“Wow, they deserve it. I don’t think anyone really suspects Rachel that much. I think they both played an amazing game.”
He then joined presenter Ed Gamble in his studio, as well as Celebrity Traitors star Kate Garraway and 2025 winners Jake Brown and Leanne Squigley.
Talk soon turned to Faithful Jessie, who was murdered by The Traitors earlier on in the series.
Matt was awarded the chance to speak to the Traitors after winning a challenge and decided to try and bargain with them.
He asked them to murder Jessie before seducing him to become a Traitor the next time they got a chance to.
Ed asked Matt: “When did Jessie find out about what you’d offered to the Traitors? Was it when the episode went out?
“Did you give her a head’s up about what you said to the Traitors?”
He responded: “Yeah, I had to give her a head’s up, I couldn’t let her watch that.
“I love Jessie,” Matt gushed before adding: “I’m so sorry Jessie.
“I wouldn’t say she was delighted but she thought it was great and she was very good about it.”
The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
