ELMA Pazar revealed she has been asked to return to Love Island All Stars following her break-up with Sammy Root.
The now single Towie star was speaking to The Sun on the red carpet ahead of the NTAs when she was asked if she would consider returning to Love Island All Stars.
The 33-year-old said: “I need a break”.
But then, when pressed further as to whether that meant it would be a “no”, she replied, “Who said I haven’t had the call already?,” before bursting into laughter.
Then when asked “to be honest” about whether she was actually returning to the programme, she said: “That would be telling.”
Elma and Sammy, 24, were already Towie cast members before signing up to appear on Love Island All-Stars.
But after pairing up on the show, some fans doubted the authenticity of their fledgling relationship, calling it a “showmance”.
Having come in fifth place, the pair appeared on Amy Hart‘s The Morning After podcast when they were asked if their romance would continue on Towie.
Amy said: “In the ITV multiverse, you guys are Love Island and Towie crossover.
“You two are going to become the power couple of Towie!”
To which Elma said: “Yeah!” And Sammy placed his hand in the air and whooped.
This didn’t go down well in some quarters, with people suggesting that becoming an ITV power couple had been Elma and Sammy’s intention from the get-go.
One fan wrote: “Elma and Sammy seem so fake. Like they didn’t realize towie starts filming next week. You know they talked about it. Why not not say so.”
And another added: “Elma and Sammy were always going to make the final. They are on one of ITV’s longest running shows. Towie plug for ITV, it’s all business, it’s all a rig.”
Having dated for months, Sammy and Elma split up in June, but it was unclear whether the break-up was permanent.
An insider told The Sun “Elma and Sammy aren’t together right now, but there is a lot of love still between them.
“It’s not a straightforward split, viewers will see how Elma and Sammy navigate their feelings on Towie, as they discuss their issues to see whether they can make their relationship work going forward.
Elma first came to prominence on series five of Love Island in 2019 but was dumped after six days.
She joined the cast of Towie in 2022.
Sammy actually won the 2023 series of Love Island, alongside his then girlfriend Jess Harding.
He was then snapped up by Towie bosses, before making his debut on the Essex reality show last year.
