A TOURIST has been found dead on a remote island after she failed to board a cruise ship in Australia.
The woman was reportedly hiking Lizard Island’s highest summit off the Far North Queensland coast on Saturday when she went missing.
Her disappearance was reported when she didn’t return to the ship.
Her body was tragically recovered from the mountain the next day.
