TOTTENHAM have lodged a formal complaint with referee’s chief Howard Webb over officiating standards.
Boss Igor Tudor accused ref Thomas Bramall of being a “home referee” following their defeat to Fulham on Sunday.
Tudor, 47, claimed Bramall made an “incredible mistake” for not ruling out Harry Wilson‘s opener after a perceived shove from Raul Jimenez on Radu Dragusin.
Spurs have contacted Webb over a lack of consistency after Randal Kolo Muani had a goal ruled out in their 4-1 North London derby defeat to Arsenal for an alleged push on Gabriel.
Neither incident involved a VAR review and were referee’s calls made on the pitch.
Tottenham are understood to have highlighted other incidents this season where consistency has been lacking, including Hugo Ekitike‘s goal against the club in which Cristian Romero went down after contact mid-air, much like Dragusin and Jimenez at Craven Cottage.
PGMOL, the referee’s body, are committed to a high threshold for VAR intervention and increased transparency under Webb.
Speaking after the game, Tudor fumed: “It’s a big refereeing mistake.
“There’s no consistency last week, what happened today was incredible.
“The referee was incredible today, not giving a goal there is madness.

“It’s about consistency of the decision, they need to understand even if it is a soft touch but he is not watching the ball, it is a foul.
“He [Jimenez] gained an advantage and they scored. You need to give these fouls.
“I didn’t like the referee today, too much of a home team referee.”
It comes after Tottenham also complained to the Premier League for a social media post which appeared to mock a free-kick taken by Guglielmo Vicario during the Fulham game.
PGMOL declined to comment.
