Spider-Man filming resumed in Basingstoke this weekend after Tom Holland suffered a head injury while performing a stunt.
The web-slinging superhero took to the streets of the unlikely Hampshire town to shoot a dramatic stunt ahead of the upcoming Marvel movie, set for release in July 2026.
The set turned the stretch between Fanum House, the former headquarters of the AA, and Mountbatten House, an office building from the 1970s, into the iconic concrete jungle of New York City.
Spider-Man was seen beckoning armed police officers and sliding on a mat along the road while being pulled by a camouflaged army truck.
Meanwhile, another shot showed the truck smashing through a set of gates while Spider-Man was surrounded by soldiers armed with prop guns.
A film crew watched on while the action-packed shoot took place.

It is not clear whether it was superstar Tom, 29, donning the outfit or a stuntman taking his place, following the actor’s head injury during filming this month.
The much-awaited Spider-Man: Brand New Day will also feature Tom’s fiancee Zendaya, as well as Mark Ruffalo and John Bernthal.
It comes after Tom broke his silence this weekend as he gave a health update.
The actor was injured when a stunt went wrong on September 19 while shooting scenes as the beloved Marvel character.
Paramedics rushed to the scene at Leavesden Studios in Watford before taking Tom to the hospital for treatment.
Filming was halted on the blockbuster for a full week, with insiders insisting it was not possible to shoot scenes in Tom’s absence.
But on Saturday evening the star shared a video from a recent gala for his parents’ nonprofit The Brothers Trust, which he attended with fiancée and co-star Zendaya.
Alongside the post, he penned: ‘What a night! Another huge success.

‘The Brothers Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night.
‘Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it! I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend.
‘A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.’
It was revealed that the halting of production on Spider-Man’s latest film is set to cost a staggering £10.5million as Tom recovered from a mild concussion.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is the fourth film in the Multi Cinematic Universe, is believed to cost $200m, approximately £150m.
Industry sources said fees associated with production, such as the hiring of studio space, equipment and maintaining sets still stood despite the halting.
The movie’s star-studded cast also needed to be paid during that time as well as additional accommodation fees as a result of extended stays following the schedule changes.
