SHOPPERS are expected to splurge £10billion this Black Friday weekend, at an average of £430 each, according to Barclays bank.
But before you part with your money, take a few steps to make the spending pay . . .
CASHBACK: Get a percentage of your purchase price back through cashback sites such as TopCashback and Quidco.
Check which offers the highest cashback for your chosen retailer before clicking through the site and shopping as normal.
An do a quick search online for discount codes at vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk.
IN STORE: You can also get cashback when shopping in store at selected brands through app JamDoughnut.

When you finish your shop, buy a gift card through the app for your chosen amount and use that to pay.
You can currently get 2.25 per cent back on gift cards for both Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
Or 6.75 per cent for Nando’s and 8.25 per cent for Costa.
Or app Shopmium allows you to get cashback and discounts on specific products.
For example, you could get a £10 bottle of sparkling wine for £2 — as the app will refund £8 in cashback.
You just need to take a picture of your receipt and upload to the app.
Always sign up to shop loyalty schemes and apps to earn points, or opt into any promotions that can save you cash.
CARD REWARDS: Selected debit or credit cards will give back a percentage of your spending.
If you choose to use a credit card, you will need to pay back the balance in full at the end of the month, otherwise interest charges will quickly cancel out the benefits of cashback.
The Chase current account and linked debit card will pay one per cent back on everyday spending such as on transport and groceries.
Some bank accounts, such as Halifax Rewards, offer cashback with selected brands.
You will just need to check and activate offers before spending.
