TOTTENHAM fans are fuming at Thomas Frank’s substitutions while trailing 2-0 to Nottingham Forest.
Instead of bringing on attackers, Frank introduced an ageing defender, Ben Davies, and two midfielders — Joao Palhinha and Lucas Bergvall — just before the hour mark.

They came on for the trio of Djed Spence, Rodrigo Bentancur and Archie Gray.
The triple change has not gone done well with the Spurs faithful, with many calling for their manager’s head.
One fan wrote on X: “This is sackable, I’m serious.”
Another said: “I’d be stunned at these subs 2-0 up let alone 2-0 down.”
A third fan added: “I can’t get my head over Davies coming on. Actually mad.”
The 32-year-old Davies, who is Spurs’ third-choice left-back and fifth-choice centre-back, was introduced for his first Premier League minutes of the season.
Frank’s relationship with the supporters is gradually deteriorating, following comments he made after Spurs’ 2-1 home defeat to Fulham in November.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario made a goalkeeping error and was subsequently booed by his own fans,

In the post-match press conference, Frank claimed those who jeered Vicario were not “true Tottenham fans”.
Callum Hudson-Odoi scored a brace to put Nottingham Forest in the driving seat on Sunday, before Ibrahim Sangare added a third after Frank’s triple sub to cap off a 3-0 defeat at The City Ground.
Tottenham are now in 11th spot, six points off fourth-placed Chelsea, with their European qualification hopes in jeopardy.
