FOOTBALL fans were left fuming with Channel 4’s Africa Cup of Nations highlights.
Afcon is in full swing in Morocco with four games having already taken place in the group stage.
Channel 4 shared a highlights package of Monday’s match between Mali and Zambia on YouTube.
The two teams played out a dramatic 1-1 draw after Leicester star Patson Daka cancelled out Malian ace Lassine Sinayoko’s opener with a last-gasp equaliser during stoppage time.
But fans weren’t impressed with the YouTube offering as it didn’t even show a single goal.
Instead the three-minute video showed five clips of one penalty miss, plus the same clips of some poor attempts at goal, defensive clearances and penalty claims three or four times each.
Afcon supporters were left seething as they stormed the comments’ section.
One fan commented: “Possibly the worst football highlights edit the world has ever seen.”
Another posted: “This needs to be taken down and replaced with something that actually is showing the goals, shockingly poor work here.”
A third wrote: “Were these highlights compiled by AI or something? Where are the goals? Nice aerial shots of the stadium tho tbf.”

A further post added “Well this is dreadful content.”
