This Morning fans jeer ‘I wouldn’t mess with her’ as ‘deadpan’ Patsy Palmer returns for another ‘joyless’ Celebrity Big Brother interview – after blanking Lorraine Kelly in excruciating scenes

Patsy Palmer returned to our screens for ANOTHER ‘joyless’ Celebrity Big Brother interview alongside her co-star Trisha Goddard on Friday’s instalment of This Morning.

It comes after the EastEnders star, 52, blanked Lorraine Kelly in an awkward chat about their former housemate Mickey Rourke, 72, on her show earlier this week.

Patsy and Trisha, 67, took part in this year’s series of the popular ITV reality show, but were voted out before the final, which takes place on Friday night.

Viewers will see Love Island’s Chris Hughes, 32, Dance Mom’s legend JoJo Siwa, 21, drag performer Danny Beard, 32, comedian Donna Preston, 38, and singer Chesney Hawkes, 53, battle it out for the top spot.

During their appearance on This Morning, the two chatted about their time in the house, and confessed that they had no idea that people were watching them through the camera run.

And hosts Dermot O’Leary, 51, and Alison Hammond, 50, dodged any questions about Mickey.

Part of the triple eviction on Wednesday night, Patsy reflected on her surprise departure, ‘We only knew it was a triple eviction a few minutes before so then to be called out was strange and it was elation.’

Patsy said she was ‘excited to get out’ of the house: ‘I loved it though I would have happily stayed there til tonight because it was only a couple more days but I never thought I was going to get out… It was like Groundhog Day, you never really think you’re going to get out.’

Many watching at home rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their views on the chat.

One said: ‘@thismorning Patsy Palmer is so deadpan and unemotional so surprised, she comes across so boring.’

‘#ThisMorning Patsy always looks as if she’s chewing a wasp…’

‘Patsy drains me from any joy that was left in me #thismorning.’

‘#ThisMorning I won’t lie, I wouldn’t mess with #Patsy #CBBUK.’

Talking about Chris and JoJo’s close relationship, Patsy said: ‘They are friends, they’ve made a little bond, it’s so cute.’

Trisha replied: ‘We all have our take on it and what have you but I guess in the end it’s only them [who] know what’s going on but it’s going to be interesting tonight.’

Trisha and Patsy shared their predictions for who will be crowned the winner of CBB 2025, with Trisha admitting: ‘I would like Danny to win… It’s going to be a juggernaut tonight.’

Patsy said: ‘I think Jack should win and I thought it through the whole thing.’

Patsy blanked Lorraine Kelly in a toe-curling interview earlier this week as she was grilled about her former housemate Mickey Rourke, before sharing her surprise verdict on Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa.

That came just hours after she refused to speak in her live exit interview with Will Best, 40, and AJ Odudu, 37, when she was quizzed about the Hollywood actor.

The EastEnders legend, 52, appeared on ITV‘s Lorraine on Thursday morning, after falling prey to the show’s triple eviction twist.

Patsy, Angelica Bell, 49, and Ella Rae Wise, 24, were booted off the show on Wednesday night, meaning that Chris, 32, JoJo, 21, Danny Beard, 32, Donna Preston, 38, and Jack P. Shepherd, 37, are battling it out to win on Friday.

Host Lorraine, 65, was interested to know what she thought about her co-stars, saying: ‘Very early on they lost Mickey, what a strange fella that was.

‘Very very odd indeed. He got quickly found out and he was gone…’

Patsy didn’t look impressed with the comment and simply replied: ‘Hmm, yeah’ and looked down at the floor.

Lorraine went on to ask the question on everyone’s lips: ‘What is going on with Chris and JoJo?’

Patsy replied: ‘I don’t know. They were down the [other] end of the bedroom and they kept to themselves.

‘I just thought “they’re so cute”, and I know he is a bit older but you kind of think they’re the same age.

‘She’s got an old head on her shoulders, she’s very emotionally intelligent, JoJo…’

She added: ‘And Chris seems quite a bit younger. He’s lovely Chris, he’s a lovely boy.’

Chris and JoJo have raised a few eyebrows since entering the house because of their close relationship – which has even seen Chris labelling her his ‘girlfriend’.

In Patsy’s exit interview on Thursday night things took a very awkward turn when Will and AJ asked her about Mickey criticising her cooking on the show.

Mickey had previously confronted Patsy about her ‘inedible’ broccoli before she left the room and broke down in tears while sat in the Diary Room.

Bringing up the ordeal didn’t go down well with the soap star, who refused to discuss the exchange and Mickey, who was kicked off the show for unacceptable behaviour.

Asking her about their conflict, Will said: ‘There were a few tricky moments that you had to deal with in there, people complaining about broccoli – that was one, but you seemed to move past that?

Patsy looked furious and simply shook her head, refusing to say more.

Will said: ‘You don’t want to talk about the broccoli?’

Trying to get her to open up, AJ added: ‘Did it upset you that Mickey complained to your face about the food?’

Still looking upset and angry, Patsy added: ‘Not really that…’

Both presenters then agreed it would be best to move on from the topic of Mickey.

During his time on the programme, Micky made homophobic remarks to co-star JoJo Siwa, which later saw him removed from the house.

He asked the YouTuber and singer, 21, if she ‘likes girls or boys’, and when she explained she is attracted to women and has a partner, who is non-binary, he responded saying ‘If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore’.

Mickey also made a sexual comment that made Ella Rae Wise and threatened Chris Hughes during a task when he accused the reality star of ‘eyeballing’ him.

Mickey’s run of bad behaviour resulted in him being removed from the show after previously receiving a warning about how he was expected to act.

Patsy broke her silence following the awkward interview on Wednesday evening.

Addressing the conversations, Patsy wrote in an Instagram story on Wednesday: ‘There’s nothing awkward about silence, it says it all!’

Celebrity Big Brother airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
