An insider says that the fourth season of the popular HBO series the White Lotus will be set in France.
Series creator Mike White, 55, has past spoken about ideas he has for the show’s season four destination, the outlet reported.
‘For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular but there’s always more room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels,’ he said.
It was ‘unclear’ if White was still aiming for an oceanfront locale, the outlet reported, noting that the Cap-Ferrat is not situated directly on the shore.
The HBO series has past had an exclusive business relationship with the Four Seasons, Deadline reported.
An HBO representative declined to comment to Deadline, the outlet reported; Daily Mail has reached out to HBO for further comment on the report.

One luxury locale the outlet cited as a potential destination was the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat.
The hotel is located on French Riviera and a major hub of activity when the Cannes Film Festival is going on.
Insiders told Deadline ‘that no hotel has been locked in’ for season four as of Thursday.
Sources told Deadline the series often incorporates multiple resorts into its shooting schedule.
Another potential location mentioned in the piece included Megève, France, which hosts a ski resort part of the year.
Actors who have worked on the program have said that White is not partial to colder locales and has shot down potential seasons based at snowy ski resorts.
The show’s previous incarnations were set in Hawaii for season one; Italy for season two; and Thailand for season three.

The White Lotus’ most recent third season, which aired earlier this year, was based out of Thailand.
It was principally set at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, while production took place at ‘three other non-Four Seasons hotels,’ Deadline reported.
The show’s first season featured an ensemble cast of Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Jennifer Coolidge, Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario, Steve Zahn, Connie Britton, Fred Hechinger, Molly Shannon, Brittany O’Grady and Jake Lacy.
The show’s second season showcased stars such as Coolidge, Aubrey Plaza, Michael Imperioli, F. Murray Abraham, Leo Woodall, Haley Lu Richardson, Tom Hollander, Meghann Fahy and Adam DiMarco.
The season three cast featured Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Blackpink‘s Lisa (Lalisa Manobal), Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs and Tayme Thapthimthong.
Other members of the ensemble cast included Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Francesca Corney, Arnas Fedaravicius, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi and Shalini Peiris.
The third frame of the murder mystery is nominated for 23 Primetime Emmys at the annual award show later this month.
