THE Vampire Diaries star Candice King has tied the knot with actor Steven Krueger.
The couple – who are expecting their first child together – eloped in a ceremony at High Point Farm in Tennessee, with just their immediate family present for the nuptials.
Candice, 38, is best known for playing Caroline Forbes in the hit CW show The Vampire Diaries, while new husband Steven, 36, played Josh Rosza in the spin-off series The Originals.
The happy couple were due to say ‘I Do’ in a bigger Nashville wedding in Autumn this year but brought the nuptials forward after learning Candice was pregnant.
The actress announced she was expecting in December last year, confirming in January that she and Steven were set to welcome a baby boy in a gender reveal post.
Candice is already mum to two daughters Florence and Josephine from her first marriage to The Fray guitarist Joe King.

“We decided to have a small elopement-style weekend in Nashville with just our immediate families, and save the bigger celebration for sometime next year,” the Caroline actress told American Vogue.
‘We had 15 people in total, including Candice’s daughters and my two nieces. And it was perfect,’ Steven explained.
“We ate, we drank, and we cut a boot-shaped cake,” Candice added. “Our family members stood up and said incredibly nice things about us. All in all, it was a delight. I highly recommend it.”
The couple were also chuffed that their upcoming arrival could also be a part of the romantic milestone.
“I can’t wait to show our son one day that he was there, too,” said the bride.
Candice and Steven met officially at a cast reunion dinner in 2023, after years of ‘circling around each other’ while filming shows The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
“Suddenly, it was this instant mutual feeling of: ‘Hi, where the hell have you been,’” said Steven of their first official meeting. “Invisible string theory at its finest.”
Steven then relocated to Nashville after the two tried long distance for six months.
In the couple’s gender reveal post, shared in January, it was clear that Candice had wedding belles in mind.
“I’m already choreographing my first dance with my son for his wedding,” read the pregnant star’s caption. “Been so excited since we found out in November.”
Candice is due to give birth to their son in May this year.
Most recently Candice appeared on screen in the Prime Video series We Were Liars.
She rose to fame as Caroline in The Vampire Diaries, which ran for eight seasons from 2009 to 2017, later reprising her role in 2018 for the final season of The Originals.
The 38-year-old also made a guest appearance in Legacies during its final season in 2022.
