THE Traitors reunited for the most tense scene EVER as Rachel and Fiona’s feud came to a head on tonight’s show.
The drama was sparked by Rachel, who attempted a high-stakes strategy after the banishment of Amanda, resulting in a fierce fall-out with fellow Traitor Fiona.
Before she left, Amanda (who was a Faithful) privately confided in Rachel that she was actually a retired Detective Chief Inspector from the Met.
Rachel decided to “gleefully” reveal this secret to the entire group, hoping that by aligning herself with a “top cop,” she would look like a 100% trustworthy Faithful.
However, the plan backfired spectacularly when fellow Traitor Fiona (the recently unmasked “Secret Traitor”) decided to throw a “grenade” into the game.
And on tonight’s show, the atmosphere was certainly frosty as a furious Rachel wanted answers from Fiona, after having been outed as a Traitor.

Rachel, Fiona and Stephen gathered in the Traitors Turret to discuss the shocking events.
Stephen asked if they were going to discuss the elephant in the room, to which Rachel insisted she “didn’t start it”.
But Fiona replied: “You’re probably wondering why I put your name out there Rachel and it’s simple really, I believe you are playing a game for yourself and I thought we were in this as a team and the reason I’m saying this is because Stephen’s name has been thrown around the castle today and I have not heard you defend him in any shape or form.
Defending herself, Rachel said: “No that’s not right, I have heard your name mentioned and I have gently said I don’t think so, I cant go in fully and…,” as Fiona interjected to say: “And I appreciate that but…”
Rachel insisted: “I promised you that I would never ever write your name down and I meant that. I didn’t make that promise to you.
“Just because you’ve not heard me defend Stephen doesn’t mean I’m not doing it.
“You’re accusing me of trying to play a solo game, you throw the grenade into our team.’
Fiona continued to say that she didn’t trust Rachel, which prompted the County Down contestant to hit back: “You broke this team up so don’t dare stand there and say that I’m out for myself because you’re the only one playing a solo game.”
Rachel was then forced to explain that Amanda only disclosed her job to her because she trusted her.
But a sceptical Fiona asked: “How does it help us?”
Rachel explained: “It directs the attention towards Sam and Jade.”
Clearly made up her mind, Fiona responded: “I’m sorry, I cant accept that.”
Rachel then turned the tables on Fiona.
She said: “I am playing for our team, you’re the one that’s put this grenade in you’re the one that’s wrecked this team.
“You do you Fiona and I’ll do me.”
Caught in the middle, Stephen opened up in the diary room, saying: “What the hell is going on.
“I really didn’t expect it to get to this with this group of people,. I thought we were gonna be best pals til the end.”
Back in the turrett, Stephen said: “Can I just say it was so over the top I thought you both must’ve planned this.
“I’m absolutely speechless to be completely honest with you.”
Rachel said: “You and me both.”
Stephen said: “I was packing my bags because Jessie is on the money with every point she makes about me.”
He then told Fiona: “You had nothing on you and now your name is on everybody’s lips, so there’s nine people up for murder tonight but Amanda left so there’s eight.”
Sam, Reece, Jade, Ellie, Matty, Faraaz are all at risk of the next murder, with Traitors Stephen and Fiona completing the shortlist.
TRAITORS AT WAR
Fiona’s role as the red-cloaked un-faithful was finally exposed to BBC viewers and her fellow Traitors in explosive scenes.
Her role – specifically created for the latest series – then sparked friction with OG Traitor Rachel, who accused her of being “dangerous”.
Last night, viewers watched Fiona accuse Rachel of being a “liar”.
Fiona, whose brother is a serving police officer, refused to believe Amanda wouldn’t have told her instead about her profession as a detective.
In a move that shocked viewers, Fiona pulled Rachel aside to ask: “Are you fibbing?” before going public and declaring to the whole group: “I believe that Rachel is lying – and I believe that Rachel is a Traitor.”
The episode ended on a “toe-curling” cliffhanger as the two rivals, along with a stunned and shaking Stephen, met in the Turret.
As they pulled down their hoods, the air was thick with silence and suspicion.
Fellow Traitor Stephen Libby was stunned to see them turn against each other in front of everyone.
He said: “What has just happened in that castle? I am shaking. The castle has descended into craziness. I need to get out of here. What the f***.”
With Fiona breaking the Traitor oath of loyalty so early, fans are now split whether she’s a strategic genius or has just torpedoed both of their games.
It comes as a record-breaking 7.5million viewers – more than those for the finale of series three – watched Fiona unmasked as the Secret Traitor on Wednesday night.
For the new fourth series, the BBC confirmed that the contestants will be competing for the chance to win a mind-blowing £120,000.
