The Traitors former stars reveal the one thing current players have ‘forgotten’ to do in the castle – as they offer up advice on how to win BBC show

The Traitors former stars revealed one thing that the current players have ‘forgotten’ to do in the castle – as they offered up advice on how to win the BBC show on Friday’s episode of This Morning.

Series two star Jaz Singh, series three legend Alexander Dragonetti, and series three winner Leanne Quigley appeared on the ITV programme to chat to hosts Alison Hammond, 50, and Dermot O’Leary, 52, about their time on the much-loved series – which comes to an end this evening (January 23).

As viewers will know, Thursday’s instalment of the show was left on a huge cliffhanger, where either Rachel (Traitor) or James (Faithful) will be banished, meaning that either one of them will join Stephen (Traitor), Faraaz (Faithful), Jack (Faithful) and Jade (Faithful) in the final.

The trio shared their thoughts on the whole series, but also mentioned that those taking part in the programme this year ‘didn’t get the memo’ about something.

Dermot pointed out: ‘Everyone is talking about who is going to go on the celeb version… but part of me just wants to go on for the breakfast!’

He added: ‘It’s just a work of art!’

‘I just love how it looks!’ Dermot confessed.

Jaz chimed in: ‘Sorry but, you know at breakfast, they should really just enjoy that breakfast! You know, have a break, recharge your batteries and then bang! Straight in that game.’

Alexander joked: ‘Harriett didn’t really get that memo did she?’

Despite correctly working out that Rachel is a Traitor in the current series, Harriet was unable to convince the other players and ended up banished after ‘sacrificing’ himself

‘She’s amazing though!’ Jaz chimed in.

Jaz also shared some tactics with viewers after just losing out on the £95,000 prize fund back in 2024.

He said: ‘Time is everything in there. You want time to pick your moments, if you go out too hard too early, that’s it. You really do shine a light on yourself.

‘Everyone jumps on that bandwagon and you’ve isolated yourself from the group. I thought the best thing I can do, let’s see how far I can go, align myself with the Traitors and keep me in the game.

‘Soon as that moment comes, I’ll strike. There was only three of us left, I thought I was going to get them.’

Alison also wanted their opinion on Stephen and Rachel.

‘Do you think they are going to keep that alliance if she gets through?’

Leanne said: ‘I think they need to burn it. They are already at each other. I think they do deserve it.

‘They’ve been through it, haven’t they? This season, this is the longest time a Traitor has been accused, they’ve had it for ages.

‘They do deserve it.

‘But then the Faithfuls have played with their hearts on their sleeves.

‘It’s literally anyone’s game at this point.

Dermot asked: ‘Being a Faithful, are you team Faithful the whole way?’

Alexander explained: ‘We like good game play, the Traitors have done such a good job. I’ve moved side for this series a little bit.

‘When there is loads of people in the cast it’s easy to have that alliance, what we all found is when there are fewer people it becomes so much more personal.

‘You can’t just deflect it anywhere else.’

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
