AFTER stepping down from her co-hosting job on Strictly, Claudia Winkleman has landed her very own chat show.
The beloved host of The Traitors, who is a household name and national treasure, 53, will begin hosting her own show in the spring.
The BBC has today confirmed that the BAFTA award-winning television presenter will host her own chat show titled The Claudia Winkleman Show.
The broadcaster also revealed it will be launching on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in Spring 2026, but did not give any further information as to exactly when.
The production company behind Claudia’s new show are the company behind The Graham Norton Show.
Each episode of Claudia’s new chat show will see her speaking to the biggest names from the worlds of film, television, music and beyond.
Speaking about her new talk show, Claudia exclaimed: “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity.
“I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the head of entertainment commissioning at the BBC, said: “Claudia is a true national treasure – warm, witty and endlessly entertaining.
“She has an extraordinary ability to put people at ease and bring out the very best in them, whether they’re global superstars or members of the audience.
“It’s very exciting that she will be fronting her very own show on the BBC, and we can’t wait for viewers to join Claudia and her sofa full of stars.”
Meanwhile the managing director of So Television, Graham Stuart gushed over how brilliant Claudia is.
“Graham Norton has made the Friday night talk show slot a dazzling appointment to view.
“How can you possibly follow that? By booking a host equally as brilliant. So we have,” he swooned.
The news broke back in October that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were quitting Strictly Come Dancing after hosting the show together for 11 years.
Tess quit after 21 years, and Claudia after 11.
The two women hosted the show together for over a decade, and their final episodes together were filled with emotion.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Day episode marked Tess and Claudia’s final ever appearance on the show as hosts.
Strictly’s Christmas special came just five days after the duo bid farewell to viewers during the live final of the main series.
The two hosts’ final live hosting stint was on December 20, 2025.
