THE top 50 best places to work in the UK have been named with some employers paying up to £100,00 a year to work in sectors like tech or finance.
Glassdoor has crowned its winners for the Employees’ Choice Awards 2026.

The annual award is based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback on the website.
This is done by completing a company review about their job, work environment and employer over the past year.
Owen Humphries, president at Glassdoor, said: “Even amid the uncertainty of 2025, these standout employers have shown resilience, sustaining high levels of employee satisfaction and trust as they navigate change.”
Up to 50 UK firms were named as the best place to work, with some employers paying staff up to £100,000 a year.
The top spot went to software engineer SAP, with the firm paying senior-level account executives a salary of anywhere between £57,000 to £89,000.
Employees have praised the firm for its good work life balance and flexible hours.
The tech firm has 14 active vaccines open at the moment, including roles as a creative assistant and account executive.
Mastercard came in second place, with a manager at the firm earning anywhere from £65,000 – £80,000 a year.
The credit card provider has got rave reviews from its staff thanks to its strong benefits and pay and flexible work.
There is about 10 vaccines at the firm at the moment, according to the job site.
Google came in third, with a software engineer at the firm earning anywhere from £70,000 to £100,000 a year.
Staff praised its great benefit package and high paying salaries. There are 19 active Google vaccines for roles in the UK.
