A WOMAN has revealed the six “council estate dinners” she was often served as a child. 

While comedian Enya Martin was not a fan of pork chops during her younger days, she described a three-ingredient super simple meal as “top tier.”

Posting on social media, the blonde shared her thoughts on the “freezer food” that she claimed did not have a “trace of nutrition” and dominated council estates in the 90s and early 2000s.

First things first, the content creator acknowledged a staple meal she would often tuck into as a child, and there were no vegetables in sight.

Showing off a plate of spaghetti hoops, potato smiles and chicken nuggets, Enya said: “I call this one a council estate tapas – fabulous array of carbohydrates and you have your ultra processed chicken nuggets thrown in there as a protein source, and to wash it down, spaghetti hoops doused in diluted ketchup.”

Next, Enya revealed her thoughts on the mini frozen pizzas that would often “scald” her mouth during her youth.

She claimed that the frozen pizzas were regularly served when dads were “left to mind” kids, as she continued: “A cardboard frisbee covered in cheese that was probably made in a lab – any native Italian would be truly horrified.”

As well as frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets, Enya was also given “overcooked” pork chops which were regularly served with “undercooked” potatoes and peas.

The hilarious woman, who has amassed 113,900 followers on TikTok, added: “Imagine finishing the school day with double maths and coming to the door to this s**t show on your plate – you’d play with it on your plate for 10 minutes and then give it to the dogs.”

While Enya wasn’t keen on pork chops, she then exposed the three-ingredient cheap meal that always went down a total treat in her home – sausages, baked beans and chips.

She beamed: “As a child this was a top tier council estate dinner – saturated fat dressed in lingerie.”

Meanwhile, she was also a huge fan of another three-ingredient dish – baked beans served with crinkly chips and curry crispy pancakes.

But to this, she questioned: “Is it any wonder that grown adults have no idea where to get their protein from when we were served carborific main courses like this?”

Finally, Enya discussed a typical “Sunday night takeaway” that she often saw in her council house growing up.

She claimed it was regularly served when mothers were “hungover” and consisted of chips and bread “doused in butter and ketchup.”

Following this, Enya joked that the incredibly beige greasy chip butty was “minus five a day” and definitely not “a picture of health.”

Enya’s funny TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @gizalaugh, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 148,000 views. 

But it appears that many could relate to Enya’s “council estate dinners,” as numerous foodies eagerly raced to the comments to express their thoughts on the popular dishes.
