From the birthday suit shoot loved by Liz Hurley to the solitary beach snap favoured by Kendall Jenner, these famous faces have proved they are certainly not camera shy.
While some bared all, others teased fans by relying only on strategically placed objects or hands to protect their modesty.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, body language expert Judi James says: “By sharing these naked selfies online, celebs get to promote their secret narratives and messages in a way that looks intimate, private and personal, rather than posing for more professional shoots for magazines or ads.”
She goes on to explain that a selfie defines an “identifiable mood, not a career” and signals high levels of control and confidence.
“This registers the freedom to express themselves in a statement of physical daring and high self-esteem that would also be described as classy as it’s their choice and their ‘moment’ of wanting to shock or maybe even stir up a little controversy,” Judi continues.
“It lets fans know they shouldn’t be taken for granted: that underneath what might be a more demure or even ‘girl next door’ public image there’s a more freewheeling, daring girl waiting to get out.”

The supermodel left social media followers “speechless” after posing naked on the beach during her 30th birthday trip to a private tropical island.
Showing off her toned physique, Kendall, who was enjoying a stay at designer Tommy Hilfiger’s luxury villa in the Caribbean, sat alone on the beach wearing nothing but her birthday suit.
The reality star also shared a range of sizzling bikini looks, and even went topless in one raunchy snap, only covering her modesty with two strategically placed stones as she lay in the sand.
Sister Khloe Kardashian responded to the photos, writing: “You’re the perfect human.”
And fans were quick to flock to the comments section too, with one exclaiming: “I’M SPEECHLESS.”

Sydney Sweeney is no stranger to a sultry snap and she once again left fans in awe earlier this month when she took to her Instagram.
Leaving little to the imagination, the Hollywood actress covered her boobs with her hands during an outfit fitting.
In the image, which was shared as a roundup of photos documenting her time in New York City, she protected her modesty as her nude-coloured corset was being fastened up from behind.

The steamy snap, which was carefully cropped so as not to reveal too much, was captioned: “Scrubbbbaa.”
Then, in July, she uploaded a totally naked bath image taken by her beau, Brooklyn Beckham.
The model and actress can be seen fully stretched out in a white tub, with the clear water giving a glimpse of her toned figure.
Protecting her modesty with her arm and leg, Nicola pouted as she stared directly into the camera lens.

Elizabeth Hurley celebrated turning 60 by ditching all her clothes and posing completely naked in an open field.
In the eye-raising post, which sent social media followers into meltdown, the actress could be seen sat in a meadow as her carefully placed arms and legs prevented everything from being on full display.
Alongside the post, where she sweetly smiled for the camera, she penned: “Feeling very blessed and grateful for having the best friends & family in the world.
“Pic taken this afternoon… in my birthday suit xxx.”
