The moment a pregnant woman goes on hour-long screaming rant at flight crew after being told she can’t fly

A pregnant woman reportedly went on an hour-long screaming rant at flight crew after she was told she couldn’t fly.

The passenger boarded a Tibet Airlines flight at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China on Monday.

Footage from inside the plane seems to show a crowd at the end of the aircraft.

Many passengers were already seated as airline workers apparently attempted to calm her down.

The frantic interaction played out after the woman allegedly revealed she was more than 35 weeks pregnant and needed special assistance, according to witnesses.

The disagreement went on for more than an hour despite even the captain ‘coming out to persuade her’, one passenger claimed.

In the end, police officers escorted the woman and her husband off the plane.

A Tibet Airlines customer service representative told The Sun that company policy states pregnant women of up to 32 weeks can fly unless they are deemed medically unfit to.

Meanwhile, pregnant passengers who are between 32 and 35 weeks need a medical certificate issued within 72 hours before their flight and must sign a risk disclosure form.

No injuries were reported from the incident and no disciplinary action has been announced by the airline against staff involved.

Guidance from China’s Civil Aviation Administration states airlines won’t fly passengers who are over 35 weeks pregnant.

Passengers should also declare their condition before the flight.

The Daily Mail attempted to contact Tibet Airlines for comment.

It comes after one passenger went on an angry rant when their seatmate started eating before the whole row was served.

A holidaymaker opened up on Reddit about their experience on a long-haul flight. They had pre-ordered a ‘special meal’ due to being vegetarian and was served their food before most of the other passengers.

‘On most flights, the flight attendant brings the special meals first and then start the normal meal service for the rest,’ they penned.

The holidaymaker was sat beside a ‘stranger’ and began tucking into their meal as soon as it arrived.

However, they were surprised to find their seatmate was offended by this.

‘On my last flight, a perfect stranger sat next to me and told me that I was rude and inconsiderate because I started eating my vegetarian food before their meal arrived,’ they recalled.

The seatmate apparently found it so ‘rude’ that the passenger had ‘ruined’ their flight by eating before everyone.
