THE Masked Singer fans claim to have worked out cute character Toastie is a hit singer with an “unmistakable voice”.
Viewers of the ITV reality series, which aired on Saturday, reckon they’ve got the breakfast snack sussed after their performance of Whitney Houston hit, Run To You.
The pitch-perfect track, which featured on 1992 movie The Bodyguard, left The Masked Singer judges stunned, with panelist Jonathan Ross praising their “lovely voice”.
Fellow judge Maya Jama then hailed their vocals as “beautiful”.
Yet the stunning performance, as well as a clue in Toastie’s opening VT, have led fans to suspect the face behind the mask is in fact Mica Paris.
They have speculated the Where Is The Love hitmaker, 56, is being disguised by the breakfast treat, whose outfit is adorned with a red wool hat.
During the preview clip, images of comedian Peter Kay and BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox, both from Bolton, flashed on-screen.
Fans reckoned the Bolton link was actually a nod to the queen of soul’s duet with musical theatre star Michael Bolton.
The pair collaborated on the 2009 charity track, We Will Remember Them, to support military families.
The My One Temptation songstress’ stellar vocal talent also led to viewers suspecting she’s Toastie’s true identity.
Fans flooded social media with their comments, with one taking to X to put: “Wondering about Mica Paris now for Toastie”.
Another put: “Mica Paris is Toastie – sang a song with Michael Bolton!”
Over on Instagram, they had the same view.
One added alongside a video showing their performance: “That’s Mica Paris.”
Another joked: “This is DEFINITELY Mica Paris. I’d bet my kids on it.”
A third put: “Yes I think it could be her, she has that husky voice,” while one mused: “Mica Paris duetted with Michael Bolton that could be the Bolton link”.

MASKED REVEAL
Meanwhile, the big reveal of the night saw the famous face behind Yak’s mask come to light.
The bold character was revealed as Sex Pistols performer John Lydon.
John, also known as Johnny Rotten, was correctly guessed by both Jonathan Ross and guest judge, Freddie Flintoff.
Speaking after his reveal, John admitted the experience had been “unbelievable” before joking: “This thing weighs as much as a Yak!”
Confirming he had attempted to keep his voice a secret, he said: “I didn’t wanna give the game away.
“I tried everything I could not to come across as a singer!”
Monkey Business and Yak were forced to sing-off after receiving the fewest audience votes before the panel opted to save one of them.
Toastie, Arctic Fox and Conkers all made it through thanks to the audience vote which meant that Monkey Business and Yak had to sing once again in order to win the votes of the judges – Maya, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan.
