Who doesn’t love a good homeware bargain? The new year is a great time to stock up on those products you’ve been eyeing up for the last few months because right now, they’re probably on sale.

John Lewis is a great place to source serious womenswear discounts but it also has an incredible selection of homewares and kitchen appliances, many of which also happen to be on sale right now.

So if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your cutlery set, want to treat yourself to some new bedding or fancy splashing out on some Le Creuset cups for your coffee machine, you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve spent more time that I care to admit poring over John Lewis’s website and have found tons of excellent deals across a range of home products – including many products I’ve tested myself.

The best John Lewis kitchen and home deals this January

What deals should I avoid in the January sales?

It might sound obvious but don’t buy anything you don’t really need or want. Impulse purchases on heavily discounted items might seem good but in my experience, that’s the easiest way to end up with items you don’t need taking up precious space in your kitchen.

I’d also avoid jumping on any trending items unless it’s something you’ve wanted for a long time.Fads and trends come and go so quickly nowadays and I truly believe that your home should be filled with things you’ll actually use, rather than the latest gadget.
