The ‘gorgeous’ WAG-approved diffuser that ‘lasts ages’ and makes your home smell like a tropical holiday for five months

RECOGNISED as style icons and beauty gurus, many of us look to WAGs for fashion and make-up inspiration.

But one field that the wives and girlfriends of Premier League footballers are quickly becoming influencers in is interiors.

They live in multi-million pound homes with decadent furnishings, so the pivot makes sense.

That includes Sasha Attwood, girlfriend of Three Lions ace Jack Grealish, who took to Instagram yesterday to promote a reed diffuser from high street favourite Next.

The mum-of-one, 28, shared a picture of the retailer’s Collection Luxe Antigua Reed Diffuser and described the scent as “gorgeous”.

A blurb on the ornament says that it has a “tropical fruity aroma that blends juicy mango with sun-drenched papaya and fresh pineapple”.

The base notes are sugar cane and white woods.

Meanwhile, the top notes are watermelon and mango, which is followed by mid notes of papaya and jasmine.

Next bosses say some bottles of the fragrance can last up to 20 weeks, or around five months.

You can pick up a 60ml version for as cheap as £9.

Larger sizes of 170ml and 400ml will set you back £24 and £34 respectively.

The diffuser consists of a glass container filled with the tropical scented oils, and a bundle of wooden reeds.

The reeds act as a natural wick, absorbing the scented liquid and dispersing the fragrance into the air through evaporation, with no need for heat or flame.

Over time, the fragrance diffuses and creates a continuous scent in the room

Reed diffusers are a popular alternative to candles because they are safer due to the lack of flame.

They also require minimal maintenance, making them great for filling a space with a consistent fragrance without much effort.

You can adjust the strength of the scent by flipping the reeds occasionally.

Or you can add and remove reeds depending on how strong you want the fragrance to be.
