A MUM has revealed her super cheap and simple hack that’ll keep your bathroom smelling fresh – and it will also banish urine odours.
Lily, who is known as @cleanwithlilyx on TikTok, shared a video featuring three cleaning tips that she claims “will change your life.”
First off, she suggests using bicarbonate of soda, which costs 59p from Sainsbury’s, and washing-up liquid to clean hairbrushes.
Hairbrushes are one of those overlooked items we often forget to clean, but experts recommend cleaning them thoroughly once a month – as well as combs.
However, if you have long hair or use lots of styling products, experts suggest you might need to wash them every two weeks.
It’s also important to remove the tangled hair left in the bristles.

Lastly, Lily recommends using shaving foam around the outside of your toilet and on the floor as it “helps prevent urine smells.”
She does this by spraying shaving foam, which costs 99p from Medino, onto the floor and wiping it up.
