Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the most revealing award ceremony of the year.
It’s not the BAFTAs, Golden Globes or Brit Awards, it’s the BMAs: the Bad Manners Awards – the accolade most public figures wish to avoid.
The judging panel of me, myself and I has maintained a watchful eye over celebrities and their behaviour over the past 365 days.
Dubbed the Queen of Etiquette, I’ve been an expert on all things decorum and manners for years, and even advised Netflix on Regency-era social graces for Bridgerton – and I can say with certainty that many A-Listers have disappointed.
Countless stars have shunned their responsibility of acting as role models for younger generations and instead acted like petulant children themselves.

Weddings have, in particular, caused a grievous stir this year, with multiple missteps over the guest list.
Previous recipients have included pop stars, politicians, actors, royalty and ex-royalty.
So who will be called out this year?
Please settle down as I reveal the famous faces who topped 2025’s naughty and not-so-nice list…
Millie Bobby Brown
While it can be frustrating when the media constantly hounds you, red carpets are mutually beneficial events – for the actor and the media.
But in November, Millie Bobby Brown, 21, lashed out at a photographer at the Stranger Things premiere.
After being told to ‘smile’ by a snapper on the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, Millie snapped back: ‘Smile? You smile!’ while wagging a finger in his direction.
While any woman may be able to sympathise with being told to smile by a man, these are controlled environments and part of the actor’s job is to grin and pose for the cameras.
Rather than lash out, perhaps she should direct her rudeness to the system.
The media is just doing its job.
People may empathise but it was the delivery that was all wrong. Never bite the hand that sustains you, Millie!

Lily Allen
In October, Lily Allen released West End Girl, her first album in seven years, which left fans stunned with intricate details of the dissolution of her marriage to philandering ex-husband David Harbour.
In excruciating detail over 14 tracks, the London-born songstress, 40, revealed her devastation after the split with her Stranger Things actor ex, 50, and shared how she discovered his three-year affair.
Lily also called him a ‘4chan stan’ and ‘sex addict’ and revealed graphic specificities about the ‘evidence’ she found that Harbour was cheating on her.
But the rudeness doesn’t lie in her ‘break up’ album.
Here, lyrics sound more like a retaliation and drags your ex into what seems like a public trial.
It puts the relationship under a microscope for all to hear and becomes disrespectful and crass. Discretion is key.
No one should be airing their dirty laundry in public, it damages reputation.
What happens in your private life should stay just that – private.

Mo Salah
Millions of people dream of becoming a premiership footballer. Mo Salah has achieved that dream.
Not only that, he’s become the Premier League’s top foreign-born goal scorer, captained his nation and is widely considered one of the best players of his generation.
Yet, the Liverpool ace couldn’t help but moan about his job.
After his recent 3-3 draw with Leeds, Salah, 33, remarkably claimed he had been ‘thrown under the bus’ by his club and added that had no relationship with boss Arne Slot.
Moaning and groaning in general can be tiresome but public moaning without perspective is a sign of emotional immaturity and lack of humility and gratitude.
When your weekly wage tops the average yearly salary especially during a cost of living crisis you’ve got to get your life or your complaining into perspective.
Empathy and humility please! Most people would love to do nothing for £400,000 a week.

Meghan and Harry
Despite pleas for privacy, Meghan and Harry have been more public than ever this year. Meghan launched her own Netflix show while Harry has posed up for a string of media appearances.
In November the couple attended Kris Jenner’s 007-themed 70th birthday at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s mansion in Beverley Hills.
Kim Kardashian and Kris both posted pictures with the former royals after the bash – but they were quickly deleted.
People Magazine, the Sussexes’ preferred publication in the US, claimed that Meghan and Harry asked that no photographs of them inside the James Bond-themed party were published.
You cannot accept a party invitation – hosted by one of the most documented families in the world – and expect privacy.
Asking them to erase content after benefitting from their hospitality and exposure is not only rude but arrogant, as well as slightly naïve.
It screams entitlement – thinking that your privacy tops everyone else’s.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle vanished from Kim Kardashian’s Instagram post from her mother Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash – leading to a worldwide frenzy; Prince Harry and Meghan are pictured outside the party on November 9
Stacey Solomon
While she usually has a wholesome demeanour, Stacey Solomon’s mask slipped this year when she proved she didn’t know how to be a gracious loser at the BAFTAs.
The 35-year-old presenter’s BBC show Sort Your Life Out was nominated in the Factual Entertainment category but lost out to Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder’s programme Grand Tour. It was also nominated for Best Entertainment Performance award which was won by Late Night Lycett.
While she congratulated the winners, she furiously let rip at the BAFTA judges in an online rant hours after the awards.
‘We didn’t win a BAFTA. And I know I’m supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but, I’ll be honest, I’m devastated!’
Despite being widely criticised for a lack of grace and decorum she doubled down on the moaning that she was robbed on her reality show reality show Stacey & Joe that aired later that year.
Polite behaviour requires that losers clap and smile for the winners, and the winners cheer and celebrate.
Whether you win or lose, there is a graciousness and elegance that should accompany it.
Showing otherwise for all to see makes you a sore loser lacking in both elegance or grace.
It becomes all about you and takes the spotlight away from those who deserve the attention.

Lauren Sánchez
Lauren Sanchez managed to upstage both the President and First Lady after wearing a racy outfit to Trump’s inauguration in January.
The wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, shocked the public after taking off her coat to show a white pantsuit – with her white lace bra on full display under its matching jacket.
You may be wearing the best tailored suit of all time but being situationally inappropriate shows a lack of emotional intelligence.
You are drawing attention away from the main character and the occasion.
Restraint over attention-seeking, knowing when to fade in the background over a ‘me’ mentality, respect for others over ‘my visibility matters more’.

It appears to be the same outfit she wore during a chat with Forbes executive vice president Moira Forbes at the 2024 Forbes Power Women’s Summit in September
And the wedding mishaps….
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham
When the son of one of the world’s most famous couples marries the daughter of a billionaire businessman, it’s bound to cause some commotion.
And while all seemed well for Brooklyn Beckham’s 2022 marriage to Nicola Peltz, in the three years since, the pair have become increasingly distant from Brooklyn’s parents Victoria and David.
This was more clear than ever when, in August, the couple decided to renew their vows, without inviting any of the Beckham clan.
Sources close to the Beckhams claim the family didn’t understand the need for Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, to renew their vows calling it a ‘quite a gratuitous display of obscene wealth’.
Excluding close family members is humiliating for those who are left behind, especially if everyone knows about it.
It denotes a lack of general good manners and tolerance.
It turns everything into a spectacle. Why not buck it up and let everyone have a good time. It shows a lack of emotional maturity- being unable to cement good relationships with your nearest and dearest.
Nicola, love certainly does not conquer all here, weddings are meant to be a sign of unity not like a game of who’s in and who’s out.
The pair began dating back in October 2019, went Instagram official a few months later, and by July 2020, Brooklyn had popped the question (their engagement post pictured)
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez, 33, tied the knot to music producer supremo Benny Blanco, 37, this year, with a string of very famous faces in attendance.
The gorgeous ceremony at a 70-acre private estate, just north of Santa Barbara, in California was witnessed by the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Martin Short, Paul Rudd and Steve Martin.
But missing from the guestlist was actress Francia Raisa, the star’s former best friend and kidney donor.
So someone literally saves your life and you don’t invite them to your wedding?
Practicing gratitude on a daily basis leads to a happier and more fulfilling life.
People who are happy are kind, generous and forgiving.
Her behaviour is somewhat brutal and ungracious.
Francia handled the snub with grace, saying: ‘I know she’s getting married, and I’m very happy for her. And look… she has a life and she is already a billionaire and I am grateful that I could do that for her.’

Adam Peaty
Three-time Olympic Gold medallist Adam Peaty is set to wed Holly Ramsay – the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon – at Bath’s historic Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul on Saturday.
But Adam’s family won’t be in attendance. Adam shocked last month when he uninvited his relatives from his big day.
The astonishing family feud kicked off after news arose that Adam’s mother was not invited to Holly’s hen do, where she was joined by her mum Tana, Adam’s sister Bethany and Victoria Beckham at Soho Farmhouse.
In the wake of the snub, a number of stories of strife unravelled, with shock claims on each side about the fallout – including allegations that Holly and Adam made Caroline chose a different outfit for the wedding as they did not like her choice.
Adam’s mother Caroline has been barred from the ceremony following a public row with the swimmer and his fiancée (L-R: Holly Ramsay, Caroline Peaty and Adam Peaty)
It’s bad enough not inviting close family to your wedding but uninviting them is a whole different ballgame.
It’s not love – it’s a power move – and it stings more when you are in the public eye. Personal family dynamics are no longer personal – they become a statement.
A one-up on the mum and a form of emotional blackmail – if you behave badly in my eyes, watch what I will do to you. It says a lot about the invitee.
