WITH Christmas party season about to kick off, millions of people around the world are likely to be waking up with hangovers the morning after.
But there’s a new ‘cure’ available that celebrities are raving about, as it means they don’t feel the effects of a heavy evening quite as much.
Ex Love Island star Chloe Burrows is one of the famous faces who will have stocked up on the product to help her cope with her busy social life.
And as an added bonus, the PrePear juice is entirely natural.
Chloe showed herself downing the pouch before heading out to dinner.
“First up, PrePear,” she said in a video on her TikTok page, before making herself a vodka and Appletiser cocktail.

The 30-year-old also raved about the product – which is made entirely from Korean pear juice – in a chat with Grace Campbell on her Late Night podcast.
When Grace asked if Chloe still gets hangovers, she replied that she does, and added: “They just get worse every single time.
“But I found the cure. On Friday, I found it!”
“What, PrePear?” Grace said.
“Because I’m obsessed with it. But it is, it does work, doesn’t it?”
“Honestly, I’ve really tested its limits,” Chloe continued.
“I was drunk, I was steaming and having a laugh with my boyfriend in the street, which I love doing.”
Chloe added that she doesn’t remember even getting home on the evening in question, and only knew she did so safely when she watched the footage from her Ring doorbell.
And while she was expecting a hangover, she woke up and was “ecstatic” to find that she didn’t have one.
“I was like, ‘Yes, it was great!’,” she gushed.
“So you really tested it?” Grace replied, as she said she’d only tried when she’d had “five drinks”.
“No, go for it, it’s fine. Tried and tested,” Chloe grinned.
Surprising hangover cures
If you’ve woken up with a groggy head and an aching body from a day or night on the booze, you need to nourish your body to help it regain strength.
Unhealthy, high calorie foods could derail you weight loss efforts as well as make the hangover worse.
Shona Wilkinson, Nutritionist at Dr.Vegan says: “Excessive alcohol consumption damages your liver. To detox your liver and alleviate nasty hangover symptoms such as nausea, headaches, and dehydration, try some of the below ingredients.”
Onions and garlic
Both of these foods contain a nutrient called sulphur, according to Shona, which is essential in liver detoxification.
“Toxins in the body essentially join to the sulphur and are then excreted from the body.”
Lemon peel
Adding some lemon peel to a glass of water or shaving some onto your food could help alleviate some of your hangover symptoms.
Shona says: “Lemon peel contains a substance called limonene, which helps your body to detoxify itself by removing carcinogens from the body.
“There is research that suggests lemon peel may even offer an effective solution to migraines and headaches, given that it’s a great source of Vitamin C.”
Grapefruit
It’s the substance naringin in grapefruits, which helps to protect the liver from all kinds of damage.
Shona says: “There are a lot of medicines out there that don’t mix too well with grapefruit however, so consult your GP before adding too much grapefruit into your diet if you’re on any prescribed medications.”
Pickle juice
An odd one, but pickle juice is packed with electrolytes like sodium and potassium, which Shona says are essential in a whole host of the body’s vital processes.
She says: “Electrolytes help to keep us hydrated by regulating the amount of water in our cells to ensure they’re able to function properly.
“If you’re hungover, it’s the perfect remedy.”
“I went for it. I woke up and I was like, I wasn’t even ashamed of what I did!”
“I’m gonna take loads to Glastonbury,” Grace said.
“I feel like it will be amazing at Glastonbury. So you’ve hacked the hangovers, okay!”
PrePear was created by Priya Pankhania, who was looking for a way to help her deal with the after effects of a fast-paced London job with numerous client meetings and social events.
Searching for a natural solution, she stumbled across the Korean pear, which has been “traditionally used in South Korea for centuries to support the body after drinking – and as she discovered, supported by clinical science”.
She then flew out to South Korea to explore the fruit further, and eventually came up with the first PrePear pouch, which she and her new husband tested at their three-day wedding.
Priya then launched the product, which costs £16 for six, officially, with PrePear becoming the “UK’s first pre-alcohol drink”.
