The 1% Club divides viewers with show’s final question as some find it ‘easiest ever’ while others ‘completely stumped’ – but would YOU guess it?

The 1% Club has divided viewers with the show’s final question as some found it the ‘easiest ever’ while others were ‘completely stumped’.

The ITV game show tasks 100 players with surviving increasingly difficult rounds of logic-based questions.

Questions are based on a percentage of the population who managed to get them right, from the easy 90% question, to the most-difficult 1% riddle.

The latest episode saw three people make it through to be in with a chance of scooping the £93,000 prize.

But first they had to correctly answer the final question, which was read out by host Lee Mack: ‘Look at the image below. Beginning at the START each time, LLL=A and RRR = H. What word is represented by the following LLR, LLL, LRR, RRL, RRL.’

Some viewers found the question one of the show’s easiest ever, while others couldn’t wrap their head around it – but can YOU guess the answer?

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, some viewers said: ‘Easiest bl***y 1% question ever???’;

‘That was the easiest 1% question ever!’; ‘I think the 1% question was easier than the 5% question tonight.’

Others didn’t find it so easy, writing: ‘Didn’t even understand the 1% question nevermind the answer,’;

‘Still don’t understand that,’; ‘Am I the only one who was completely stumped by this?’

The answer to the brain teaser was: BADGE.

The three contestants got the answer right and walked home with £31,000 each.

It comes after The 1% Club were left up in arms after a finale question last month was again dubbed ‘too easy‘.

Viewers were left in shock when a recent 1% question appeared easier than some of the previous riddles the contestants had been asked to solve.

It read: ‘Bonnie is planning a heist. In a coded message she instructs her accomplice about which type of escape vehicle to bring. What vehicle will Bonnie be using?’

The coded message continued: ‘Meet me at the gazebo atop the hill after 11am.’

And while both finalists taking part on the show got the answer wrong, with Lee, 57, making the big reveal, dozens of viewers at home said they had it instantly.

Taking to Facebook, people said: ‘Boat? Surely If that’s right it can’t be a 1% question,’; ‘That’s incredibly easy for a 1% question,’;

‘How can that be a 1% question, the easiest I’ve ever seen, five seconds,’; ‘Got this in about two seconds, far too easy,’;

‘Boat just stood out to me,’; ‘Atop is an unusual word to use, so directs you to the word boat.’

Others poked fun at the question, suggesting alternative answers.

’11am, I’m going for llama, it’s an odd choice, but I like it,’; ‘Could it really be at the top fo the hill at eleVAN?’

The 1% Club is available to watch on ITVX.
