Napoli were in front with four minutes left on the clock as visitors Leece chased a leveller.
But as they got ready to take a free-kick in a dangerous position, play was immediately halted as players and staff rushed to the scene after noticing that Banda had fallen to the turf.
Medical staff quickly reacted, with a stretcher also attending the 25-year-old.
After a couple of minutes, the Zambia international was carried off the field to an ambulance present at the stadium.
The entire crowd at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona applauded with reports confirming the player had regained consciousness before leaving the pitch in hugely positive news.
He will now undergo further tests.
