The point prevented Luton from slipping below Orient in the table and they remain one place outside the play-offs.

Wilshere has lost just twice in 12 games since taking over at Luton, but one fan appeared unhappy at the performance of his side.

Kodua’s goal was Luton’s only shot on target and the supporter remonstrated with Wilshere at the final whistle.

The former Arsenal midfielder had approached the away end to applaud the travelling fans for their support.

Another added: “Luton need to give him time he’s not even had a window
He’s a great coach and will only keep learning and get better at the job.”

A third wrote: “I like this from Jack. He’s a 34-year-old rookie manager. He’s also an intelligent man. This isn’t cynical. It’s who he is. He knows the power of something like this. I applaud him for doing it. We need to give him time.”

And another commented: “Not his biggest fan but appreciate this, a lot easier for him to applaud and walk away.”
