A teenage girl was allegedly raped in a train toilet just minutes after being sexually assaulted on a platform in a shocking early morning attack in south-east London.
The 17-year-old was targeted shortly after 6am on Friday 19 July at Woolwich Arsenal railway station before boarding a Thameslink train heading towards Abbey Wood.
British Transport Police say the girl was first sexually assaulted on the platform before the man followed her onto the train and raped her in one of the on-board toilets.
The suspect is believed to have exited the service at Abbey Wood, while the teenager continued on to Slade Green station and later bravely reported the attack to police.

A 30-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and taken into custody.
He has now been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses who may have seen the pair on the platform at Woolwich Arsenal or later on the train itself.
