Teen stabbed in McDonald’s restaurant as boy, 15, is arrested after cops rushed to scene

A TEENAGE boy has been arrested after another teen was stabbed in a busy McDonald’s restaurant.

The victim suffered stab wounds following the horror in Tamworth, Staffordshire, yesterday evening.

A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police told BirminghamLive: “A teenager has been arrested after a boy was stabbed in Tamworth.

“Just before 8.30pm yesterday, were called to a report of a stabbing inside McDonald’s on Elmhurst Drive.

“A teenage boy was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his lower back. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

“A 15-year-old boy, from the Birmingham area, has been arrested on suspicion of affray.

“He remains in custody as our enquiries continue.

The force urged anyone with any information to get in touch quoting incident number 795 of 30 March.
