TANYA Bardsley has shared “another sign” she is “going round the bend.”
The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star admitted her easily done error left her “so confused.”
The 44-year-old reality TV star, who recently had a hysterectomy after years of “suffering in pain”, took to social media to open up on her “perimenopause brain.”
The mother, who is the longest-serving cast member of the Housewives, has been open about dealing with perimenopause throughout the years.
Tanya previously confirmed that she entered perimenopause when she was just 38 and has been suffering ever since.
Then, at 39, Tanya was diagnosed with ADHD after years of struggling with anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

Now, just months after she shared her battle with adenomyosis, where tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus leading to pain and heavy bleeding that can significantly affect daily life, Tanya took to social media to share her brain “flump.”
Alongside a clip shared online with the caption “Peri meno brain is now actually flump,” Tanya sat in her car with her hair scraped back.
She said: “Yet another sign that I’m going round the bend.
“Sat outside, waiting to go in reformer pilates and it’s not on.”
The brunette then continued: “I thought I’d booked it…there’s even a class.”
Visibly baffled, Tanya shook her head, looked away from the camera and simply added: “So confused.”
Tanya’s fans react
Tanya’s TikTok clip, which she shared on her official account, clearly left many open-mouthed as it quickly racked up numerous comments in just two days.
Many of Tanya’s fans were eager to empathise with the star, as they too felt the struggle and revealed their own recent experiences with perimenopause.
One person said: “I bought a book the other day and I accidentally ordered a German one, you are not alone sister.”

Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “Nightmare! It’s the lateness for me – I try so hard at the moment to remember stuff and be on time and late every time.”
At the same time, one woman admitted: “I’m just like this atm, I feel like my memory is just so muddled. It’s scary.”
Tanya’s perimenopause journey
Tanya’s confusion comes just weeks after she opened up to The Sun on Sunday in more depth about her perimenopause journey.
She said: “I have had so many messages from women over the years who have taken comfort in me speaking out about perimenopause, so I think it’s important to show this side of what’s going on with me.
The 13 symptoms of perimenopause to look out for
DURING perimenopause, oestrogen and progesterone levels begin to fluctuate.
This is when it’s common to experience difficult symptoms like mood changes, irregular periods and hot flushes.
It can also lead to hair thinning and loss as hormone levels affect the hair growth cycle.
The condition usually affects women in their 40s but can sometimes begin in the 30s – it’s less common but not unusual.
Here are some of the most commonly experienced symptoms of perimenopause to look out for:
- Incontinence and bladder problems
- Changes in your menstrual cycle
- Hot flushes and night sweats
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Vaginal dryness
- Weight gain
- Joint and muscle pain
- Difficulty sleeping
- Feeling depressed
- Experiencing mood swings
- Brain fog
- A loss of interest in sex
“It might help other women to not feel so alone.
“With perimenopause I thought I was going crazy.
“I just wasn’t being listened to. I was even given antidepressants. I felt like no one was taking me seriously and then you’re just left feeling like everyone hates you.”
As well as this, Tanya who joined the first series of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire in 2015 with Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon, Leanne Brown and Magali Gorre, acknowledged: “So many women said they experienced the same thing.

“I swear if a man had to go through what we did, there would be serious changes that happen quickly.”
Tanya, who lives in luxury in a £2million Cheshire home with her husband, Phil Bardsley, assistant manager of Macclesfield, then expressed: “Imagine these guys going through perimenopause.
“Every top scientist, every doctor around the world, all the government’s money would be on it.
“I once called an ambulance for Phil because we thought something was seriously wrong with him – it turned out to be bad trapped wind.
“I will never let him forget that, ever!”
