The Take That superfan who gave Robbie Williams her phone number on the band’s new Netflix documentary has been found.

The three-part self-titled doc explores the 35-year journey of the boy band and features archive footage from when they first rose to fame in the early 90s.

Among the older clips featured is one of a 14-year-old girl named Jemma who had queued up at the HMV store in Chester in the hopes of seeing the band.

Take That had been at the store to promote their latest album but because so many fans showed up, some didn’t get to go in and had to wait outside.

One of those fans was Jemma Louise Williamson who was interviewed by a camera crew and gave out her home phone number in the hopes Robbie, 51, would call.

She said: ‘I love Robbie because he has gorgeous thighs and a gorgeous body and he can have my phone number any day. Call me anytime.’

Sitting down to watch the documentary 34 years later, Jemma was shocked to see her teenage self appear on the screen.

The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 tracked her down and she appeared on Tuesday to discuss the hilarious clip.

She said: ‘I was on the Take That documentary that was on VHS in the 90s but then obviously didn’t realise that they got clips of me talking. Then low and behold, I’m on Netflix!’

Robbie shared a clip of himself watching the documentary on Instagram and then tried calling the number Jemma gave out, but it was out of service.

She explained: ‘The fact that he mentioned me on his Instagram is just unreal. If I had given out the area code, my dad would have gone mad if everyone had started ringing our house.’

Jemma added that if she could have Robbie sing her one of his songs these days, it would be his 1998 hit She’s The One.

Robbie made Official Albums Chart history on Friday as he surpassed The Beatles to become the artist with the most UK Number One albums of all time.

The singer scored his 16th chart-topping LP with new release BRITPOP, overtaking John, Paul, George and Ringo to claim more Number One albums than any other artist in UK chart history.
