RITA ORA looks rear-markable as she shakes her booty in the music video for her new single, All Natural.
And I can reveal her husband Taika Waititi was responsible for capturing her best angles as director of the sultry shoot.
The vid shows Rita dancing alone in an abandoned nightclub wearing black shades, a white vest top and Y-fronts.
Sitting down for a chat with Biz on Sunday this week, the singer explained how the scenes were made.
Rita recalled: “It is so funny. I was filming, and obviously the cameraman has to do 360-degree angles.
“He is one of Taika’s best friends — he works with the same crew all the time.
“He’s got this camera on and he’s shooting, and Taika was going, ‘Shoot the bum, shoot the bum’.
“The cameraman was going, ‘I don’t feel comfortable, I don’t know’. Taika was like, ‘You can shoot, you are fine! Get in there!’.
“He was going, ‘Erm, OK, I guess so’. It was so funny.”
Meanwhile, Rita confirmed that the oversized undies she sports in the vid were not swiped from her husband’s pants drawer.
But she admitted: “They are a bit baggy. I was looking at my butt going, ‘I have got a bit of a baggy butt going on over there’.
“No, they are not Taika’s. I wanted it to not feel too uncomfortable because I was dancing, and genuinely I am not a trained dancer like some others.
“I wanted to dance in my own way and I didn’t want to have to think about sucking it in and all that stuff.
“So I just wanted to wear something that was comfortable — and a pair of pants was that!”
Asked about working with her husband, Rita said: “It was actually a necessity to have him do this video, and it was so nice that he just dropped everything and did that.”
Sounds like it’s not all work and no play, then…
STYLE DOWN TO A TEE
AFTER working on a collab with Primark, Rita has revealed that she still loves finding a bargain.
She has teamed up with the budget fashion retailer on a collection that channels her signature style.
Rita – pictured in an £8 slogan T-shirt and £4.50 beanie hat – said: “This whole experience with Primark has been so liberating. It was such an unexpected collaboration.”
The singer, who was raised in West London, revealed: “I wanted to try and give a little bit of high fashion for my community.
“I didn’t really grow up with a lot and so to be able to go and find something that felt really elevated for a good amount was an incredible find for me.
“I never forget that feeling – I still do it now. So it is nice that I can now do that for others.”
I NEED TO TAIKA BREAK AFTER BASH
AFTER throwing a star-studded bash for husband Taika’s 50th, Rita has vowed never to organise a party again.
A-listers such as Kate Moss and Matt Damon were on the guest list – and as the Sun revealed on Friday, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen stepped out with model Hannah Palmer at the bash on the Spanish island of Ibiza.
Rita said: “I know that I will never organise another party again.
“I was so stressed out. I am scarred – throwing a party is not easy, especially when it is on a level like that.
“His friends are obviously not Joe across the road. I am like, are they going to be fine? Where are they going to sit? Everything was so much stress.
“It was his 50th so I wanted everything to be great – and it was beautiful, actually.
“I am proud that it turned out really well.”
Taika shared a glimpse of last month’s party to his 2.9million Instagram followers, showing a huge pavlova with candles and guests donning masks of his face on the dancefloor.
Rita added: “All of his friends and loved ones flew in from New Zealand.
“It was so magical and very emotional – but, yeah, that is done now until he is at least 60.
“He has a really great cousin who is an incredible vocalist so we flew him out as a surprise. It was a touching moment because they live very far away.”
Sounds like Rita has a back-up career in party planning.
MUSICAL SOON ON CAREER
RITA and her husband, filmmaker Taika Waititi, are busy penning their new musical based on the Fyre Festival.
The couple have been working on the project about the disastrous 2017 music event organised by businessman Billy McFarland.
But Rita has revealed she has EIGHT years of footage to make her own musical documentary.
She said: “I’ve been filming myself for the past eight years and one day I’m going to have to use that footage.
“I’ve had dressing rooms flooding, my outfit not arriving in time. Sometimes I’ve not had a make-up artist and I’ve had to hide under my sunglasses.”
Rita revealed she plans to bring the musical to the UK as well as America.
She said: “It’s for the West End and Broadway. We’ve got a brilliant team. I’m very excited about it.”
She added: “Our tagline is: ‘What’s the worst that can happen?’” We can’t wait to find out. . .
THE singer raised eyebrows when she sported an “I love mushrooms” T-shirt in July.
But Rita has revealed she has been taking care of her health by supplementing her diet with fungi.
She told me: “I have mushrooms in my coffee every morning.
“I use my friend’s brand called Mother Nature – she makes these really healthy things for your brain.
“They aren’t psychedelic mushrooms – each to their own – but I have been very into self-care for the past two or three years.
“I love putting nutrients in my coffee, like collagen.
“I am not a kid any more, and you have to keep it together. It is self-care.
“I work out a lot and that is a non-negotiable for me.”
By the looks of it, Rita’s hard yards in the gym have paid off.
RITA has revealed her dressing room demands while she’s on the road.
Discussing how she winds down following a gig, she said: “A bottle of red wine, because after the show I always have to have a glass.
“I love red wine, it just calms me down. Pinot Noir is not my vibe anymore. It used to be, but it is too light.
“Then I like a Pinot Grigio as well, which is lovely with some ice – super crispy.”
The singer said of her snack choices: “Then some blueberries, nuts . . . some Haribos, a packet of crisps – usually sweet chilli.
“I used to have flowers, but now I just ask for a candle. Any kind of fresh candle, like a basil.”
I bet Rita’s dressing room smells like a spa.
