Italian DAZN presenter Eleonora Incardona has been accused of wearing an ‘unprofessional outfit’ during her coverage of the Club World Cup.
Recently, fellow football presenter Valentina Maceri, 31 – who presents Champions League coverage for Swiss broadcaster Blue – launched a personal attack on Incardona for her choices of clothing.
She said of the Italian presenter’s bold selection of outfits: ‘Incardona mainly presents the betting odds. And she does it very sexy. Sometimes vulgarly.’
Now, Munich-based fashion expert and stylist Sonja Grau has delivered a blunt verdict on Incardona’s recent outfit – a skimpy, figure-hugging black dress.
Grau did not hold back, labelling the presenter’s outfit a no-go for the professional sports stage.
‘It doesn’t make a serious impression,’ Grau told Bild. ‘This is perfectly acceptable in leisure time, depending on the situation – for example, at the beach or a lake.

‘But Ms. Incardona was in the business world, and that’s not professional in any way and has nothing to do with style.
‘Bare midriffs and that low neckline don’t belong in the office either. It’s fine in her free time, but everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to score with.’
Incardona, 34, alongside Giusy Meloni, 26, Diletta Leotta, 33 – who is the wife of former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius – and Maria Luisa Jacobelli, 33, have become recognisable names around the world thanks to their coverage of the Club World Cup for DAZN’s Italian arm.
Incardona has gone viral throughout the tournament for her choice of outfits but did receive backlash for what she wore as she presented DAZN’s coverage of Bayern Munich versus PSG.
She shared numerous striking poses in a striped cream suit that was complete with a matching bra in a social media post as she wrote: ‘Bye bye Orlando. Heading to New York City’.
But several fans were critical of Incardona and claimed her outfit was inappropriate.
Meanwhile, the original criticism Incardona faced comes after Maceri has recently released a book entitled ‘F*** Female Empowerment: The Great Mistake of Modern Feminism’.
In the book, she states: ‘Personally, I would say that the way female reporters present themselves on the sidelines in Italy is sometimes borderline.’

Then, in a fresh interview, she launched another attack on various female presenters, including the 34-year-old, for their choice of attire.
She said the Italian DAZN quartet’s outfits, which have generated traction online, demonstrated little professionalism and that they ‘lack style and class’.
Incardona’s next outing will be at Sunday’s Club World Cup final, when PSG face off against Chelsea.
So far, she has shown no sign of adjusting her style in response to the backlash, continuing to dress on her own terms.
