STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has revealed she has a tattoo in a very intimate place.
The BBC star, 65, said she had her ex-boyfriend Danny Taylor’s name tattooed on her bum when they were dating.
The Sun were first to reveal last year that head judge Shirley had called time on her six year relationship with actor Danny Taylor, 52.
Shirley has now admitted that she has “regrets” having the tattoo on her derriere and has warned others against doing the same.
Shirley said: “I neither want or need a partner. I’ve been divorced twice and been single since splitting from my last boyfriend – Danny Taylor.
“I’ve come to realise that I’m not here to be ‘in love’. I’m not on this earth for that – my purpose is to teach dance and to help people find joy in that and reach their potential.

“Maybe I’ve had too many losses to want to let people get too close – my father left when I was two, my brother took his own life, my two marriages broke down.”
Shirley said the that she spent six good years with Danny – saying he was “charming, kind and came into her life at the right time”.
But the ballroom star pointed out that there were many red flags too.
She told Best magazine: “One thing I’d say is: ‘Don’t get a tattoo of a man’s name on your backside’ because it’s always there!”
The dancer last year revealed that her bottom is covered in tattoos.
Shirley said at the time: “I have tattoos on my bottom – a butterfly which represents freedom on one side.
“When my brother was alive, he was a fisherman, and he used to see all these beautiful frogs when he was out and about.
“So when he passed away I put a beautiful frog on my backside.”
Speaking about her then boyfriend Danny, Shirley added: “I put my boyfriend’s name on my bottom as well.
“I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. But we’re still together, so…”
After being unveiled as Rat on The Masked Singer, Shirley told how she might add a tattoo of the rodent to her collection.
She previously said: “I think for Rat I might get an R on my ankle or wrist, I love Rat.”
TRUTH BEHIND SPLIT
Earlier this year, Shirley candidly opened up about her break-up with Danny and what led to it.
The Strictly Come Dancing icon said that events on her 64th birthday led to her deciding to call time on their romance.
Twice-married Shirley said it was on this day that she was contacted by a relative of Danny’s saying he had “vanished”.
The family member told the dancing champ that they couldn’t get hold of him, and that his phone was off at that they were “worried” about him.
Shirley said this panicked her, as her brother had taken his own life when he was just 44 in 2003.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “All those memories came flooding back…it triggered all these emotions.”
Shirley and Danny’s family then spent an agonising night trying to find him.
Then at 2am, Shirley said she noticed that her Whatsapp messages to Danny had been read.
However, her relief quickly turned to anger when Danny turned up the next day and she said he “acted as though nothing had happened”.
It was at this moment, that Shirley decided she wanted to end things.
“I will never forget that day until the day I die. I remember looking across in the middle of the night and I saw my mother was just so upset, reliving all of her trauma,” she said
“I just thought ‘this can’t go on’. Not just for my sake, but my mum too.”
Continuing she said: “I still loved him but I thought this is something I can’t continue to be a part of, It’s all very sad.”
Shirley began dating Danny in 2019 after meeting in late 2018 while starring in a Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.
