Dani Dyer has confirmed that her Hollywood hardman father would never appear on I’m A Celebrity because he would get ‘bored’.
Due to appear on the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing, the Love Island winner, 29, revealed to the Mail that Danny, 48, had been asked to go on the BBC dance show but turned it down.
She said: ‘ I would like to see him in the I’m A Celeb jungle but he says he never would go in the jungle.
‘He was like: “Dan, I’d be bored.” He’d be snoring everyone to death.
‘A lot of people when they said Dani Dyer’s doing it, because it was on the radio they probably thought it was the other Danny Dyer.’
Dani wed the England and West Ham footballer, Jared Bowen, earlier this year and the pair share twin girls, Summer and Star, and a son, Santiago, from a previous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence who was jailed for three and a half years in 2021 for defrauding two pensioners out of more than £34,000.

She told the Mail: ‘Dad loves Jared – he adores him. Oh, no, I’m newly-married – like we literally got married in May! So we’re very much in love. And yeah, he can chill.
It comes after Dani revealed that she is getting help from husband Jarrod, ahead of her Strictly debut.
She told the Mail: ‘Jarrod is so excited for me and so supportive. I’m so lucky I have such a supportive family. I said to him: “Can we dance together?”
‘I will definitely be getting him up in the kitchen, we’ve got to have a little dance.’
She also opened up about what it was like to dance in front of her wedding guests, which included their children.
She said: ‘Our first dance was nothing massive. We had two days before the wedding, and I said: “Babe, we have to try something.”
‘And he was like: “I will just spin you around, pick you up and give you a big kiss at the end.”
‘Honestly, that first dance feels like it goes on for ages. You have got everyone watching you, and you’re just two-stepping. So we did that.’

Dani said she was ‘so excited’ to be a part of the BBC dance competition.
She added: ‘I knew I was going to have a great time, but I just feel like it is even better than I could even imagine. It’s dance, it’s fun. Today I was watching all the professionals. I get home and I’m just so excited.’
The gruelling training for the show will mean she will be away from her children for long periods at a time, but Dani admitted she couldn’t turn down the ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’.
She added: ‘My kids, especially my eldest, he loves dancing. He loves a bit of Katy B’.
‘He’s moved on from Peppa Pig. He’s four. I know they will be super proud. This is a time to enjoy.’
Speaking about her dad’s support she said: ‘He’s coming to the first live show. He gets really emotional about things. He will probably cry. He’s just so proud. He’s a proper girl dad. He really is. He’s like: “Just go and enjoy it and smash it”. He’s really excited for me.’
‘I said to him: “Do you want to come?” and he said: “Absolutely. I will come whenever I can.”‘

The pair got married in a lavish ceremony in June at the Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire and share twin daughters, Summer and Star, who are two years old. Dani is also mother to a four-year-old son, Santiago, from a previous relationship
Dani has faced criticism for having previous dance experience before signing up for the popular dance show.
However, she has made it clear that her experience was only as a child.
She said: ‘When I was a little girl, I always loved to dance. There was a little class in East London that I went to called Peggy O’Farrells’.
‘I loved it when I was a little girl, but then you hit your teenage years and you lose confidence and wonder whether you can do this.
She concluded: ‘But I regretted it because I really love to dance, it was so fun.’
