VICKY Pattison’s husband Ercan Ramadan has surprised her with a striking new engagement ring, a year after her original diamond was stolen.
Vicky was left devastated in the run-up to her wedding when her emerald cut diamond engagement ring — believed to be worth around £200,000 — was stolen just weeks before the big day.
The Sun revealed the ring was taken inside a bag that was stolen from a train while she was travelling in her home city of Newcastle.
Now, after four wedding dresses, two ceremonies and a year of marriage, the Strictly star is once again wearing a dazzling engagement ring.
Revealing the surprise on Instagram, Vicky wrote: “Christmas came early in our house…”
She added: “It’s been a mad old year and I couldn’t have got through it without my incredible husband and having him by my side through the highs and the lows has made everything just that little bit better!”
Explaining how the moment unfolded, she continued: “Tonight, at home, in our pjs with the dogs we had a cute little surprise date night and @ercan_ram gave me the most beautiful new engagement ring and wedding ring.”
Vicky paid tribute to Ercan, who first proposed in 2022, saying: “As some of you may know mine got stolen just before our wedding and this gesture has absolutely made my year!
“And he got it in a new colour way too! It’s so perfect! I love you so much and I would choose you in this life, and the next.”
The former Geordie Shore favourite, 38, tied the knot with Ercan, 32, at Marylebone Town Hall in London in August 2024.
The couple later marked the occasion with a larger celebration in Puglia, Italy, held several months after the legal ceremony.
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner has previously described her Italian wedding celebrations as the most “special” and “magical” day of her life.
Vicky and Ercan met after being introduced by mutual friends and began planning their wedding following their Dubai engagement in 2022.
Before then, Vicky told The Sun she would be happy to propose to Ercan and that she was ready to commit.
She added: “I’d have no qualm asking Ercan to marry me but as long as I still got a nice ring out of it.”
Vicky and Ercan first moved in together in 2019, nine months after her split with former fiancé John Noble.
Vicky also revealed she froze her eggs to ease the pressure to have a family before Ercan is ready.
She said back in 2022: “I’ve put baby dream on ice.
“I haven’t mourned the loss of my 20s at all… they were completely taken over by feeling insecure, not being confident in my body, feeling lost and not knowing who I could trust.
“Now I am in my 30s, I am going from strength to strength – I know myself and I have contentment.”
Vikcy’s Strictly journey came to an abrupt end last month but she will return to the show tonight for a final group dance.
Vicky lost her place on Strictly after facing EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal in the dance off.
