STRICTLY star Nikita made a dig at his ex-partner Dani Dyer as he praised his “best friend” and dancing partner Amber Davies.
Following their performance on Saturday night, Nikita revealed how he felt about Amber’s presence on the show.
Referring to the recent hatred Amber has faced online, Nikita got emotional and said: “All you deserve is love because without you, I would not be here.
“And the show would not be as good as it is because you bring so much joy and is the only thing you bring.
“And you deserve all the love in the world.”
Dani Dyer who was Nikita’s ex-partner was forced out of the competition after she fractured her ankle just weeks before the show launched.
At the time, a heartbroken Dani said: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny.
“Apparently doing the Quickstep on a fracture is not advisable and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance, so I’ve had to pull out of the show.
“To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement.
“I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”
The BBC then confirmed that Amber would replace fellow Love Island star Dani but some fans called her signing a “fix” as she is a trained dancer.

Ultimately, the judges decided to save Amber which saw Lewis out of the competition.
Throughout the series, but particularly this week, the Welsh theatre performer Amber has faced sick online trolling over her previous dance experience and spot on the show.
On Wednesday’s episode of Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two she opened up on her connection with Lewis and said: “Lewis was my rock.
“I would like to think I have thick skin but obviously the start of the week has been tougher than usual.
“I would like to remind everyone I wasn’t supposed to be here.
“I was a last minute replacement and I’m just trying to do my best.”
