STRICTLY fans are convinced that La Voix has been given a free pass to next week’s show after spotting a clue.
Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, 37, and professional partner Karen Hauer, 43, were given the boot following a nail-biting dance off on Sunday.
La Voix and partner Aljaz Skorjanec found themselves in the bottom two but were saved by the judges after performing their foxtrot for a second time.
BBC viewers were left furious at the decision and said La Voix deserved to go.
And now some fans believe bosses are pushing La Voix towards Blackpool Week, which takes place in two weeks.
They pointed out that La Voix will be performing a Couple’s Choice routine on Saturday, which puts them in a strong position.
One wrote: “I hate how orchestrated the Strictly dances are. They’ve clearly given Balvinder something more forgettable to ensure she’s in bottom two, whilst giving La Voix a couple’s choice to ensure she gets to Blackpool. It’s probably in a contract that La Voix gets to Blackpool.”
A second said: “For Week 8, La Voix & Aljaz are dancing their Couples Choice to Don’t Rain On My Parade. I can’t wait to watch La Voix and Aljaz’s couples choice I wonder what the theme is going to be? I feel this will help to secure La Voix’s place in Blackpool.”
This person shared: “Based off song choices alone – my current bottom 2 is Bal & Julian Vs Amber & Nikita with Bal going home. I’ll see if that changes once I’ve watched this week’s It Takes Two interviews but La Voix is likely to make it to Blackpool now with her Couple’s Choice.”
Many viewers were left disappointed with the results on Sunday and said it was a big “mistake”.
“It was the wrong choice tonight again. Harry did the dance right and improved every week. He was a joy to watch. I think the Judges just want La Voix in Blackpool,” this person pointed out.
Someone else echoed: “La Voix got through because he ‘mastered’ a heel turn! A step that a 5 year old could learn in 2 minutes! Once again instructed by the BBC to keep him in or lose their jobs! Harry had the notoriously difficult Samba and was superb. A big loss to the show.”
This person said: “I’m telling you they’re trying to get La Voix to Blackpool. If Bal is in the bottom two next week (I pray she isn’t) they’re going to send her home with their minds made up already.”
Sadly Harry – who was slammed for flashing his abs in his samba – was sent home after failing to win over the judges.
However, many show fans reckon La Voix was saved as she’s being lined up to fill the show’s vacant hosting role.
Last month, The Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman, 53, and her Strictly sidekick Tess Daly, 56, announced their plans to step down from their iconic BBC telly role.
And now the race is on for new presenters, with viewers suggesting the drag queen had kept her place on the show as she was being teed up to replace them..
One took to X to write: “La Voix?? Is that because she’s being lined up as a future presenter?”
Another put: “100 per cent La Voix and Aljaž should have gone home. Harry and Karen were definitely the better dancers.
“The judges are clearly only saving La Voix because she’s going to be the new Strictly Come Dancing presenter.”
A third then put: “I agreed, I was shocked they were all in consensus.”
NEXT ROLE?
Earlier in the series, La Voix made a play for Claudia Winkleman’s job live on air.
Claudia and Tess made history as primetime television’s first female presenting duo when they paired up to co-host the show in 2014.
Both had been part of Strictly since 2004, Tess hosting the main show with Bruce Forsyth and Claudia on spin-off It Takes Two.
Shortly after her Cher-themed salsa in Icons Week, La Voix headed to see Claudia for feedback.
Alongside her professional dance partner Aljaz, La Voix made a pitch for Claudia’s plum telly role and quipped: “Claudia, while I’ve got you, do you know the address where you send your CV to the BBC?
“Just in case any new jobs are coming up.
“Just asking for a friend.”
Claudia, going off script, burst into giggles and said: “Give it a go, babe!”
Dressed in all-black for her stint as the Believe songstress, La Voix then did the handover to the main studio and said: “Tess.”
Fans on social media were in stitches with one taking to X to post: “La Voix stealing the entire show with one single word omfg forget the glitter ball, give her the job.”
Previously, fans have told how they believe it is “so obvious” La Voix is a shoo in for the vacancy.
La Voix – known off-stage as Christopher Dennis – previously told The Sun: “The Strictly gig is any TV presenter’s dream role.
