STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers have been left in tears after spotting “heartbroken” Katya Jones on set without Lewis Cope.
The pair were brutally axed from the show last weekend after landing in the bottom two alongside Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.
As viewers tuned into Saturday night’s instalment, they flocked to X to share their thoughts after seeing Katya without Lewis.
One BBC One viewer penned: “I’ve got #Strictly on but sorry to say it has lost part of its sparkle for me without Lewis & Katya.”
Another person expressed: “Can’t believe we aren’t seeing Lewis and Katya #StrictlyComeDancing.”
Somebody else slammed: “Watching #StrictlyComeDancing this week is like watching Wimbledon if Alcaraz went out in the quarter-final.
“Lewis and Katya should be dancing another magic routine tonight.”
Yet another wrote: “#strictly Lewis and Katya, just won’t be the same without them – perfect pairing.”
A fifth added: “#StrictlyComeDancing how utterly boring now without Lewis and Katya.”
Fans were left in a total state of shock last weekend when former Emmerdale star Lewis was sent home.
He paid a gushing tribute to Katya as he said: “
It’s been incredible and will be a memory for the rest of my life, and I think’s all down to you, you’ve given me everything as a friend as a teacher.”
A tearful Katya said: “I think you have created so many moments for Strictly Come Dancing that will be in the history books, you will be remembered as the best male celebrity we ever had on the show.
“I really hope Lewis Cope will be remembered for the incredible person you are.”
She went on to call him a “kind, humble gentleman”.
On the impact the show has had on those watching, Lewis continued: “What is life without people. I’ve seen how it’s brought people together. It seems to lift people up.
“It’s brought my family, four generations, together every Saturday night. Young boys who thought it wasn’t accessible have started dancing.
“If you’ve changed one person’s like like that then that’s enough.”
Katya later took to Instagram to share her thoughts as she wrote: “
I must say congratulations to all semi finalists, and to @nikita__kuzmin and @amb_d – who fully deserved their place in the semi final.
“There was absolutely no doubt about it. Keep going guys!”
She emotionally continued: “My heart is broken and it will take some time to heal.
“So before I write a big profound post- I will take a minute to digest and breathe.”
