Dancing pros also appear on the show and often do silly things

But for others this news is unexpected, as many viewers assume that It Takes Two airs in the same week as the main show starts.

It Takes Two typically begins after Strictly Come Dancing‘s first live show.

This is when the competition has ramped up and there’s more to chat about off of the stage.

The chatty extras show spills all the backstage gossip from the main programme and gives viewers insight into dance rehearsals.

Some other previous hosts include Claudia Winkleman, and Zoe Ball.

Strictly Come Dancing kicks off tomorrow for 2025, making its much-anticipated return for the Christmas run-up.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke are returning as familiar faces to the judging panel.
