More backlash
When Thomas Skinner – former star of The Apprentice – was announced to take part in Strictly, the news caught fans by complete surprise.
The show soon faced backlash after he became known for his outspoken political opinions on social media.
He previously expressed support for President Donald Trump and had met with Vice President JD Vance on his summer visit to the UK.
He had also previously been open about his conviction for handling stolen goods in 2011.

A summer of scandal for bosses
After months of speculation, the show has just about survived yet another summer of scandal.
The crisis-hit dancing competition has had to face some harsh reality checks over recent weeks.
Following a string of abuse allegations, it was reported that the show struggled to sign female celebrities following a number of abuse scandals.
The BBC upheld a number of allegations made by Amanda Abbington after she accused Giovanni Pernice of bullying.
Although the professional was cleared of any accusations relating to physical harm.
However, Graziano Di Prima was dropped from the show after his representatives admitted to ‘kicking’ Zara Mcdermott.
